Hotel Torre Del Conde

Spacious room with excellent bathroom - very clean. Convenient central location backing on to attractive park with historical tower.

Food at breakfast plentiful, but quality was not great. Did not realise could not have dinner on Christmas Eve because had not booked half board (but found good restaurant nearby). Disappointed that advised there was plenty of free onstreet parking nearby, without the warning tht it was likely to be full, plus underground car park nearby is dangerous since a van is often parked in the entry lane. It would have been helpful to point us in advance to the area north of the hotel where parking is easier (10 minutes walk away) and to explain that the hotel is in a pedestrian area.

Great location, close to ferry and restaurants. Nice room with park view. Smart en suite fittings. Great views of the town from the solarium on the roof level.

The room was clean and tidy but the air freshener/perfume smell was overpowering! Like walking through the airport duty free perfume section. Luckily we could open the window to the balcony and it cleared eventually. Less is more sometimes!! Also, breakfast is served from 7.00, but if you're catching the daily 7.00 ferry that's too late. A little breakfast was made available but no bread, cheese, toast etc. even for a light snack. Next time I wouldn't book breakfast.

In all of the reviews that I have done, I think that this hotel has been the most harshly rated. It is way above low 8’s and, in my opinion, is worthy of 9.5+ as I can not fault in any way (booking.com does not facilitate subtleties in ratings any more). The location could not be more central, the price was great value and all of the staff at reception and breakfast were lovely. The room was pristine and spacious, breakfast was fine and I had a lovely ovely view of the Torre with the sea to the side.

Nothing at all. Breakfast was busy but that seemed to be due to everyone arriving at the same time so I should have got up earlier and there is an overspill room in any case.

Excellent location in centre of town, near to buses, ferry, beaches, park and selection of bars & restaurants. Clean comfy room. Good choice of food at breakfast. Breakfast staff very friendly and were quick to top up the food. Lovely roof terrace with sunloungers.

Roof terrace is very dark in the evening as there was only a sensor light which turns off quickly . Also, a couple of tables and chairs on the terrace would be nice.

Arriving on the late ferry this accommodation proved perfect for our one night stay in San Sebastian before we headed off to see the rest of La Gomera. The hotel is very well located for tourist attractions and there are numerous nearby restaurants and bars, the staff were friendly and helpful, and our room was comfortable, clean and peaceful with a small balcony that overlooked the lovely nearby park. We didn't have breakfast, but from what we saw it looked fine. Highly recommended for a short stay and very good value.

The hotel doesn't have any dedicated parking and is situated in a pedestrian zone so no car drop off at the hotel door is possible, but with some driving around we were able to find free parking spots just a few minutes walk away.

This hotel is a gem ,everytime I stay there it meets my expectation. It is efficiently run yet with a "laid back" feel. It is well positioned not far from the main plaza in San Sebastian in the lovely island ,of La Gomera ,the real Spain.

My view from my window was onto the main street, but it was not noisy. There are rooms with a view overlooking a lovely park. However I did not ask for one so I cannot complain ,overall I cannot complain

Great location, good breakfast, free parking in the hotel surrounding. We did not like the iron bars in windows, but it is probably a necessity in the ground floor. There is a supermarket next door and a few great possibilities to eat on the same street. Walking distance to the harbor, supermarkets, bus station and city center. Good value for money, great base camp to explore the island by car or by bus.

As usually in most of the hotels coffee machine produces under average coffee.

A great place to stay when in San Sebastian. Right beside the lovely park, a short walk to the beach and very close to all restaurants, cafes, etc. The room was very nicely furnished with a very comfortable bed and clean modern bathroom. We had a very fun view of the colourful buildings of the town. We only stayed for one night but would definitely stay for longer. Highly recommend!

Breakfast was fine but .....

Miele had to be asked for most days Coffee undrinkable but same in all hotels! Lack of oranges and other fresh fruit some days. Pears were so hard and not that tasty! Shame no fresh juices (orange juice was processed) But staff charming and we eat well

The location is really good, you can reach walking the port in just 2 mins. The staff was nice and the room big enough, comfy and clean. The views from the top of the hotel are quite nice and the access street is quite nice

We booked a room with park views and we had it, but we got a first floor and it was right in front of a tree, so couldn’t see anything, not even the park… the beds had an inner plastic cover that made sleeping difficult. Overall the hotel looks kind of old style, needs renovation.
