Hotel Cándido

This hotel is very well situated in well maintained grounds with good outside parking spaces. Although it is a little way from the city centre, there is an excellent local bus service providing quick & economical access to & from the city. After a good buffet breakfast in the spacious dining room, we were off to enjoy Segovia and its delights, before returning for a night cap in the comfortable lounge or garden and watch the sunset through the trees. Any questions? Ask the staff who are only too pleased to help and advise. Our room on the ground floor was very comfortable and spacious with the best laid out bath and shower room I have ever used. Luxury indeed!

Loved the building and history, very clean and comfortable.

The breakfast is rather poor. Does not correspond to a 4 star hotel, more like a badly rated guest house. *Little fruit selection *No warm food, except badly done scrambled eggs and warm ham. *As soon as we sat down the bill came to our table and two waitresses came to confirm that we had not include it in the reservation. *Overall it was an unpleasant experience. It would be best not to offer breakfast. Or do a proper job that reflects a 4 star hotel and adjust prices if necessary.

Great hotel and staff. This place was great for our family break in Segovia for two nights. It was very clean and the rooms and beds were a great size. Although it's a little outside the town there is a bus stop directly outside the hotel to the centre for €1 and a taxi is about €7 it was perfect.

The spa is only open from Friday afternoon to Sunday which was a bit disappointing and the restaurant wasn't the best. The breakfast was not worth €12 I'd recommend eating in the town it's better quality and value.

the room was so big and comfortable. the beds A little hard. no complimentary water or coffee. you will need transportation to get near any of the sites, but the is the price for a quiet hotel. the spa and pool are extra, and you need to make a reservation. ($12) you need flip flops and a bathing cap, or pay for them. no amenities in the spa showers. the plumbing stops up. plentiful buffet breakfast for $15€

you have to pay for pool and or spa and required flip flops and bathing cap not included. the pool is great, though. service people are very kind. a/c doesn’t work. we opened windows.

The room size was excellent the hotel was beautiful and the location was fine for us.We did.nt use any of the spa facilities so cannot rate them. The staff were great. We arrived and was given a room and when we got there it was'nt made up so they gave us a differant room straight away which was a beautiful up grade in an suite. Cannot fault the place overall and the free parking was a great bonus the city of segovia was beautiful too and would reccommend for others and would use your hotel again.

The only thing we missed was tea/coffee making facillities in the room to make ourself.

Love the luxurious rooms and decor throughout the hotel. We have made this our stop off location as we travel to our home in the south. We love it.

I didnt much care for the food in the restaurant but have previously had room service which was always pretty good. Would like a little more choice in the mini bar. The beds in room 138 were not very comfortable and could do with a mattress topper. The bed in the suite we stayed in previously were much better.

We stayed 2 nights, lovely hotel that we had chosen as it has onside free parking. Luxurious room with amazing bathroom and an outside terrace. There was a terrace where you could sit and have a drink. We eat in the restaurant 1 evening which was good but the breakfast was expensive at €15. The hotel is 25mins walk downhill to the centre and we got the bus only €1 each, but don't forget a mask . Pool looked nice but didn't use. If you don't mind a hotel outside the town its a cheaper option than the centre with parking.

The entire complex was amazing! The rooms were huge, parking great and the pool was excellent. But the staff - especially breakfast coordinator Carol and the Senior bar tender/waiter - who made the best mojito's in Spain (sorry didn't catch his name) were AMAZING!!! They made Candido extra amazing - with their service and professionalism!

Very big hotel with a luxurious feel. Big clean rooms, polite staff and many services (restaurant, pool, gym, spa). Room was quiet and sunny. Very easy to park in front of the hotel.

Room was missing kettle with coffee/tea and iron/ironing board. For such big rooms and nice hotel I would have expected those as basic. Location is not close to Segovia's centre but not impossible to walk.

Walking into the hotel gives you the wow factor, it’s immaculate and elegantly furnished. The rooms were also really pleasant, and super clean also. The pool was very refreshing, access was great if you have a lower floor room with terrace. Restaurant for lunch again was nice, try to take a terrace table since interior looked a bit dated and lacked the character of the hotel. The staff are 10/10, really keen to help and charming.

The beds… who chose these? Honestly, I’ve slept on more comfortable camping beds… Super firm with little between your back and springs! Apparently they’re brand new… The breakfast was average at best… range of options other than fruit and tostada was very limited. No hair conditioner in the bathrooms and no free water… €2 for a tiny 300ml bottle.
