Hotel Skandia

Best Location, its just outside the station :) Staff is very helpful and nice. For Elsinor its a good hotel as its right in the center of the old city. Best is to walk in the city however if you have copenhagen card you can access the DOT trams and buses.

Washroom was little stinky, maybe cause it was the top floor.

Very central location. Friendly staff. Plenty of choice at breakfast. Able to reserve parking space free of charge. Shops and restaurants very close by. Although the room was very small it was perfectly serviceable.

Not able to access car park after 10pm. We were visiting family one evening and came back later than 10pm so had to park in local car park. Parking spaces very tight. The room was very warm and needed to have windows open as difficult to sleep. Due to close proximity of railway station and town centre it was a little noisy although we had a room at the back of the property so wasn’t too bad.

An very old hotel on a perfect location, just opposite the train and ferry connection. The staff was very polite and was always smiling to help. The breakfast was good as well and just inside the old town and have everything is walking distance, The room for 3 person was huge compared to the standards in Europe with a walk-in closet as well.

I had double charged from my previous hotel and suddenly my card was missing money. The guy at the reception was very patient when I was trying to solve the mess. The hotel is easy to access from Helsingör train station. It is opposite of it. I came by train from Copenhagen. Helsingör has lot of restaurants, shops, bars and seaside. People were friendly and the vibe was relaxed. The hotel had elevator, no need to drag your bags at stairs, room had everything you need. Everything worked fine and breakfast buffet was very nice!

Love the location very close to ferry terminal and train station, nice selection for breakfast, room serviced daily, very friendly and helpful staff. We asked for the same room as we had last time we stayed here and we were given it, would definitely go back to stay here.

It would be nice to have a fridge.

The staff were very helpful ,especially when I arrived at midnight because of the limited UK flights to Copenhagen. Breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and efficient. The hotel is perfectly placed for all the wonderful sights of Helsingor, particularly for the train traveller.

The payment method is odd, I understood that payment would be made at booking ,but it is made at the end of the stay. This did cause confusion when I added two extra days to my stay and wondered why I had been charged for a full week, but all was explained as I rushed off for my train.

Home like hotel. Really relaxing in a way. Nice restaurants close and relaxing small town with history and ocean. Really nice.

Bathroom were a bit challenging as tiny. Entire bathroom floor will get wet if you use shower. Thing that might be tricky to improve as so old building.

Room good, staff good, breakfast good, location good, gald we came and stayed here.

Toilket paper harsh and uncomforatble, bettre quality is not that much more expensive.

Our budget room was very small but well laid out and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. Location across from train station was great - not noisy. Staff made accommodations to secure our bikes and keep our luggage for the morning after we checked out. Staff also helped with sightseeing questions.

The outside could be nicer but it was a good hotel choice for us. Very convenient.

20 or so meters from the train stop and a quick walk to the castle. Also under 5 minutes to the ferry. Cool look and nice staff with very comfortable beds

We only stayed one night and less than 18 hours at that. Had to skip the breakfast as our ferry left before it started.
