Location is very convenient - about 15 mins' walk from the train station and a little further into the centre of town but the buses and trams from Eigerplatz (2 mins away) are really frequent and very reliable, and the hotel gives you a code for free public transport for the duration of your stay. The hotel is new, clean, and well looked after, with a comfortable bed and a very good shower, and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Breakfast was good with a variety of different options.

The room ('superior queen') was pretty small and in particular had really limited storage/hanging space. Fine for a couple of nights but any longer would have been difficult. And just one chair with a tiny fold down table. I also wasn't fond of the slightly weird arrangement with the toilet in a separate 'bit' to the rest of the bathroom - just seemed a bit odd. It was also difficult to keep the room from being stuffy - air con didn't seem to do much (maybe wasn't working, or just sporadically reset itself to a higher temperature) and the window opened onto the tram depot!

Location was nice, walking distance from both old center and the rail station. Tram and bus stop is in front of the hotel. Room was clean, as the entire hotel. The room had good sound isolation. Breakfast was good, plenty of choices. Bed was comfortable. They gave us a free pass for local transport for our entire stay in Bern, which was something unexpected and appreciated. I liked the fact they have free water dispensers (in general the tap water in Switzerland is good quality) and they give reusable bottles. The coffee is free at anytime. Wifi working good.

Toilet door doesn't give you too much privacy.

The hotel is great overall. Very helpful and friendly staff, comfortable bathroom and the room. Conveniently located next to the bus/tram stop with a very tasty breakfast, Parking available directly by the hotel. Don't forget to bring an adapter for the socket, but even if you do, you can borrow one at the front desk.

There are metal night stands right next to the bed, so it gets loud when you put away your phone/watch/glasses. It gets busy during the weekend, and so they could use extra hand with managing and cooking the (delicious) breakfast.

Location and breakfast.Also near to tram and buses depots which has high frequency of timings. Bed was quite comfy and shower was good. Staff friendly and helpful.Professional.

The air con didn't work well and we had to change room as a result but although it was better, the airflow was small and took long to generate flow.luckily we can open the window(shout out to the front desk staff who responded quickly to troubleshoot and change room) There is not enough space to move freely especially after you carry luggage.Mini table was literally mini and not much space to place items.

Friendly staff and good value for money especially as breakfast included (which provided a good choice and quality). Drinking water available on all floors and free coffee machine downstairs. Also included free travel pass for public transport for duration of stay. This is ideal, because the hotel is about a 20 min walk from the train station. With a tram stop at the hotel you can get to the centre in just over 5 minutes.

Room was quite small.

Location perfect, full of restaurants around. The hotel was clean and comfortable, every floor has free water dispenser including sparkling water. Shower has excellent pressure and temperature, the bed was comfortable, air conditioning was super effective, staff was kind. No weird noise even if the hotel is next to the bus parking. Excellent, seriously. Will come back.

The breakfast wasn't very special, but was ok.

Overall the property was excellent and the location is well on point. It was close to train and bus station and covered well with shops and restaurant which was convenient. The staff was excellent as well.

The only downside was the set up in the bathroom. The set up of the shower causes the whole bathroom to be wet and there were no outlet for the water to exit from the toilet bowl which was inconvenient. Something for the hotel to consider.

The hotel room although not that big for 3 people, but it was clean. The breakfast was very good, with a lot of choices. We enjoyed the breakfast very much. Besides, the hotel also provided a free city transportation card which was excellent for city tours.

No kettle. We want to have hot water, we have to go down and take it from the coffee machine. It is inconvenient as the hot water is hot to bring to the room.

I love the sustainability of the place from the key cards to the “do not disturb” sign all being made from wood along with the sound proof concrete walls and blackout curtains. The real cherry on top was the amazing free breakfast and the free Bern transportation card! I felt like even though it was expensive, the whole country is very expensive and I got my money’s worth.

Proximity to the central station, just 3 stops away (10 min) and the bus/tram stops in front of the hotel. Breakfast is good. Entire staff is very welcoming and helpful. Kids play area. Quick check in and check out.

Room temperature is centrally controlled. At times you may feel the need to adjust. However this is not a big issue and I will certainly come back and stay here for its positives.
