Belvedere Swiss Quality Hotel

The location is only steps away from the train station and the central. The staff was the fifth star of this hotel, very welcoming and supportive. Jungfrau view from our room was magical. (One of the staff members was on her first day of work, yet she managed to take us through one the smoothest check-in’s that I have ever had)

Restaurant staff were not at the same level of the hotel staff, one of them got annoyed when we asked for non-alcoholic drinks menu, because of this terrible experience we decided to eat outside the hotel during our stay. The other points is more of a recommendation, the transportation and attractions information were explained on papers. Updating it to mobile version would make a huge difference to the guests experience.

Everything was perfect. They had the best service we have ever experienced, the breakfast was delicious, the staff were one of the friendliest people i’ve ever met, the bartender even teached us how to play pool! the place was so nice and clean, the beds were so comfy, and the balcony had the best view of the mountain, we felt really welcomed, they even gave us free welcoming drink and cake and when we checked out they give us free water bottles and chocolate and a ride to the train station.. Honestly worth every penny, BEST HOTEL EVER, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT!!!!! :D

I can't say enough good things about my experience with this hotel! From start to finish, the service was truly remarkable. I can't thank the staff enough for making my stay so comfortable; from Javier at check-in, to the kind driver who picked us up. The room was lovely, with an incredible view of the mountains. The restaurant and amenities were top-notch, and I really appreciated the convenience of the tablet in the room and all the little details that made our stay so enjoyable. For example, the toilet seat was adjustable - how cool! Many thanks!

Beautiful property with amazing views. We stayed in the family suite that has a separate kids room off the main room with its own bathroom and shower. So convenient for a family of 5 (twin bunks and single twin). Staff was always pleasant and helpful, the breakfast was delicious. I wish I could have stayed longer and would definitely return.

Did not bother me, but the location was closer to the train station than the main shops and restaurants. It was less than a 5 minute walk into town center, and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the way!

The hotel is a family heritage, it has history since 1907. So family care and attention can be felt from the people working here, from the unsurpassed service, and even from the interior! There are tourists from China, Japan, America, UAE etc. Lots of couples. The hotel is perfectly located- close to train and bus stations as well as the lifts. You can go to explore mountains on foot or even do some activities as paragliding, biking etc. Top of Europe is located somewhere around. The hotel has got wellness area which works from early morning till 10pm so you can enjoy swimming pool, sauna, salt water jacuzzi any time you like. You would surely adore pictures you can take on the terrace with a marvelous mountain view having your welcome drink! If you decide to order dinner you would relax listening to live piano music! And breakfast are included- more than 5 types of cheese, prosciutto, red fish, sausage, eggs - fried, boiled, omlette. High variety of fruit, yougurt, bread. Japanese soup and rice)) And other healthy foods! The first breakfast we took shampagne to celebrate our stay! Girls on the reception are always helpful, friendly and polite. Kitchen and cleaning staff are always welcoming you so we could feel as if the royal family treatment. I would like to give my all respect and gratitude to this wonderful family tradition ❤ and that you help Ukraine in these times.

Every people working in this hotel are very nice and welcome with warm smile. even the weather is cold outside!;) They have great spa, we can had memorable experience with snow. I had three days of breakfast and one day of dinner in hotel, it was awsome! You can take many of local bread, cheese and others in breakfast. In dinner, you don't need to worry to order the course, you can order just meal or try to make 3 or 4 course meal whatever you want. Every sigle dishes were really great and with quiality. Most epic point is the view. I guess that many visitors is expecting the Eiger view from the hotel, you never disappoint.

Beyond expectation. The staff anja marie if i am not spell her name wrong, was very helpful and patient helped me when it comes to pcr test problem. She helped to called the pcr testing center because i've yet to receive the result i needed to go to back to my country. The view is great. They gave us an upgrade to corner room The dining room is clean of flies. I ve stayed in several places in Switzerland and some of them even 5 stars name can have a flies around restaurant. Distrubing your dining time. But belvedere is very clean

Excellent location. The rooms overlooking the village and Jungfrau mountains are a must to book for the trip. The rooms were clean and had all necessities. The hotel lobby offers homely comfort and incredible views of the mountain range. Front office manager (Christy) and her staff were very helpful. Hotel is right next to the Grindelwald train station and super close to Terminal (where u can take a cable car from) to go to Jungfrau mountain.

they are very proud in being an old business family, doing this for generations. And it's working great! The personal touch is over the top. The staff is taking their time to perform each task and genuinely to take care of the guests. This is unique, and we haven't felt that welcomed anywhere else until now, and we've traveled quite a lot. Tips: Book the mountain view!!!! I can't stress that enough! We haven't, but we've been luckily upgraded to the mountain view room. It's breathtaking. Waking up and seeing the peak in front of the hotel is gonna change your day and give a different perspective of your vacation. The building is rather old but it's very well maintained. There is a big private parking and electrical charging station. It was full on one day, but we still managed to park somehow. The hotel is within walking distance of most local bars and restaurants. The bed was comfy and had quality matress. The wifi was rather average, but I never complain about that - it's almost the same in every hotel. All in all - a greatly recommended experience.

I can't understand people complaining about prices: did they knew what the price was before booking? if so - how can they complain? I can't really complain about anything.

The friendly staff,the food,the housekeeping, the location ,soundproofing of the rooms,all topped with the owner’s graciousness and warm hospitality.

One elevator Bath tub is too high(very dangerous).It is better to replace with simple shower.
