feRUS Hotel

Breakfast at the feRUS hotel was good; also for dinner the restaurant is within the hotel. The hotel is conveniently located only 5 minutes by walk from Rothenburg Dorf railway stop, some 7 minutes from the trolleybus stop Sprengi in Emmenbrücke and some 13 minutes by walk from Emmenbrücke Gersag rail stop. Emmenbrücke Gersag is served more frequently by trains than the Rothenburg Dorf stop! Room was quiet, and the bed was comfy. The Luzern central station is 9 minutes by train from Emmenbrücke Gersag, and connections are frequent!

The room was a bit small.

We booked this hotel in Emmen Nord, only a 8-9 minutes easy drive from downtown Lucern. This proved to be a good choice. the hotel was a beautiful place and felt like a trendy spot with good food and service. We also appreciated the attention to design details in rooms and resto. Breakfast was delicious (especially the crisp and buttery tasting croissants). Upon check out, we noticed some odd financial transaction emails far exceeding the booking cost, but the owner rapidly replied and made appropriate verifications to ensure we were not overcharged by mistake. The is a small elevator which is nice with heavy suitcases and the patio was pleasant for end of afternoon cocktails. Lots of PARKING right across from hotel, a plus! I regret not having had enough time to actually have dinner too at FeRUS, as speaks smelled tasty. Staff spoke French, English and German, very kind and helpful

The location was perfect as we did a one night stopover driving from France to Lake Maggiore. The room was quirky and very spacious. The restaurant was popular and the food was fantastic!

We didn’t realise that the room didn’t have air conditioning when we booked it and although there were fans, it was very hot and therefore we didn’t sleep as well as we would have liked. Breakfast was simple but fine for what we needed.

This was a very beautiful place not far from the city center. It’s a very short bus ride. The hotel/restaurant staff were all very helpful. The FeRUS restaurant was delicious! Our compliments to the chef and staff. We went there twice. Lovely restaurant.

The only issue was that the beds were not too comfortable and the blankets were a bit heavy for summer. Our room got quite warm (we were happy for the fan for sleeping). Maybe giving a lighter blanket is helpful.

The property was exceptionally clean and all furniture, fittings and facilities were in excellent working order. The internet worked perfectly in all areas. The coffee machine in the room made excellent coffee! All staff members were polite, helpful and attentive. No requests were declined and they even went beyond with unexpected gestures that made us feel so appreciated.

The staff so friendly, room basic yet very clean and beds are good but the very best to us was the restaurant. We arrived late and were served perfect food and wine in a cosy setting. Staff was also very friendly to our dog. A big plus for dog lovers. This is a great place to stay for a stop over on your trip to Italy.

The only minor was that the hotel is situated next to a road and our room opposite a pizza take away. So we had some noise that kept us awake. Should be OK if you keep windows shut or take earplugs with you.

Cosy rooms, boutique style decor based on a metal foundry concept. Nice garden outside for dining and drinking, very pleasant and helpful staff

Hotel is at a fairly busy intersection, so could be quite noisy at times. Restaurant is a steak house, and I would have loved to try, but was travelling with a vegetarian friend and there was basically nothing available for them.

Wonderful reception despite our arriving towards the end of an evening. Clean and comfortable room. Friendly and helpful bar staff. Great food, beer and wine. Enjoyed discovering the history of this interesting building. Liked the way the decoration was in keeping with its industrial heritage.

Great value of money. Only 7min drive to the city center and has free parking which was amazing. We also had dinner at the restaurant and it was great as well. Staff was nice.

probably just a personally opinion, but I don’t feel like having glass windows on the bathroom door is a good idea😅

The apartment was spacious and very clean. The staff was super friendly and service minded, and our we enjoyed our dinner brought from the downstairs restaurant in the comfort of our room, the food was really tasty! We only stayed 1 night, but we had a great experience :)
