Hotel Bristol Verbier

Everything was great and very complete breakfast. The administration was very friendly.

The hotel is several blocks downhill from the medran gondola. Going up one can catch a free bus at the ermitage hotel parking lot about a block away. Coming down is not easy. One may think of going down hill with the ski boots but the walk is very painful and the sidewalks are extremely slippery. I think the hotel needs a shuttle to pickup skiers, even if charged for it will be 100% worth it considering there is no taxi stop at Medran and the departing buses appear to go in a different street direction.

Room was comfortable with a beautiful view, however it was too small despite I booked a Panorama room with a higher rate. Location is perfect, in the heart of the village, close to everything on a walk distance. Breakfast was good, but not exceptional. The hotel doesn't have a parking spot, however there's a parking close to it. In my opinion, hotel should offer a parking reservation for the guests traveling by car, since you have the risk to get to the parking and finding it full. Staff is very kind and helpful.

In the middle of the night there was someone knocking at some door and somebody screaming at the corridor. Have no idea what was going on, but I didn't feel comfortable wit the situation.

Very kind and well-prepared staff. Great location, in the center of the village. Clean, comfortable, and renewable. Simple and great for a weekend. Public parking is just in front of the hotel. Amazing and complete breakfast.

Nothing. Everything was perfect! Just a small reminder: if you are looking for the same mood of decor from the hotel restaurant you may be disappointed. There is no correlation. The hotel decor is more alpine and simple than the decor from the restaurant.

The hotel is the perfect location, right in the centre of town, close to restaurants, shops, 5 mins walk up to Medran main lift etc. Room sizes are also really spacious and there's a delicious breakfast included. It was perfect.

Our room was right by the stairs so was a little noisy at night with people returning from drinks/dinner. Would have preferred a room on corridor rather than by the lift/stairs.

The staff were particularly warm and friendly and very helpful. The room was very clean and the balcony was a great bonus, we even had a mini Toblerone on each pillow! TV in the room offering English channels. We fell in love with Stella the Golden Retriever! The fact that we could park outside the hotel to load and unload with a chargeable carpark opposite was very useful.

I can't think of anything that would have made our stay any better, we loved it. Being closed season for most businesses meant that it was very quiet but for what we required it wasn't a bad thing.

Very comfy bed, the toblerone on each pillow was a nice touch. Great choice of breakfast. Great view from our room. Fab location in the centre of Verbier.

The only thing we didn't like was the noise if we left the patio door open whilst we slept. If it was shut our room was lovely and silent. We are used to living in a cold old house so were a little on the warm side with the door shut.

Lovely centrally located affordable hotel! Wonderful room w view and modern bathroom and comfortable bed and comforters and pillows. Excellent pre ski breakfast as well as very nice and helpful staff. Across the street parking garage was very convenient and it was walkable to medran ski lift as well as to the best boutiques and restaurants in town.

Excellent and professional staff, fast check in, I appreciated the upgrade from twin to double room as I was staying alone. Excellent location, clean and modern room with a wonderful balcony. This is my 3rd time staying at Bristol, I will return for sure.

I felt the room was a bit small but appreciated the huge bed. Clean bathroom but some of the shower fixtures were coming loose, need to fix.

Despite it being the off-season, and being practically the only guests in the hotel, we received a very warm welcome, from the manager helpfully waving to us as we drove in, to a delicious buffet breakfast every day and mini Toblerones on our pillows. The room itself was fantastic - we were upgraded to a larger room than we booked, and had a balcony with an amazing view over the town, as well as enormously comfy beds and a very nice shower. The staff were all lovely, but Robert in particular went above and beyond the call of duty. He was super-friendly, very helpful and even went out of his way to find us a pair of Hotel Bristol mugs when we wanted to buy some for friends. He said this was his first hotel management job, and with customer care like this, he'll go far in hospitality. Really couldn't have asked for a lovelier stay in Verbier.

Nothing at all as we had a fantastic stay. We were sad not to eat in the hotel's fantastic-looking Taratata restaurant, but we knew that would be closed for the off-season anyway. We look forward to trying it next time we visit.

Quick check-in. Excellent location, easy 10mns walk to Medran (uphill) or 30 second walk to bus stop for Medran and other ski lifts. In the real heart of Verbier so easy access to all shops, restaurants etc. Friendly and helpful staff. Decent breakfast. Room decent with nice balcony. Bathroom small but fully functional and equipped with toiletry basics and hairdryer. Decent wardrobe space with minibar, safe, kettle with simple tea and coffee. Handy secure locker for skis etc at entrance level of hotel. No room service. One hotel in restaurant (Taratata) but didn't try it.

Poor acoustics, can hear other rooms and hallway activity so earplugs a good idea. TVs a little old!
