We stayed at La Catogne after planning last minute to do some skiing in Verbier. La Catogne was a short drive away from the La Chable list, which is very convenient. The hotel rooms are simple but comfortable. The staff is very nice. The restaurant was a winner. We had originally only planned to eat there our first night but the food and service were excellent, so we ate their both nights. It is a bit off the beaten path, but made a great home base for Verbier skiing.
Hand soap in the room would be nice. Otherwise, everything was very good!

The staff were incredibly kind and attentive. The whole set up was very comfortable and perfect for accessing different ski resorts. It was also nice not to be in the ski resort as you felt like you were in Switzerland rather than an overpriced theme park for skiers. You need a car to get around.

We were four friends on a bike tour. The staff were very kind and let us store our bikes on the inside as one of us needed to use a power outlet to charge an e-bike. Dinner was excellent with the 'Charbonnade', Highly recommended. Pricey but perfectly in line with Swiss standards,

My room was suitable for me being a lone traveller. the Restaurant menu was very good and they have a comfortable outdoor area if preferred. Being Switzerland the cost of meals in the restaurant were higher than expected but it was my choice to stay within Switzerland.

The stuff was more than kind, hotel situated in an incredible site, my window literally opens over the river, super extra clean, smelling the detergent on my sheets, warm, Cosy, great breakfast!

Just a bit isolated, it's hard to walk to the nearest village for a restaurant. But the restaurant at the hotel is excellent, so you don't need to.
