No blankets, only sheets. Got frozen in the night while A/C was working.

A hotel with a nice lobby. Friendly staff, ready to help and answer your questions! We got a room according to our wishes - thanks to the hotel administration! Enough spacious room with good furnishings and comfortable beds. WiFi free and good working. We were pleasantly surprised by the gift from the hotel - in the evening we received a dessert! The location of the hotel is excellent - all the sights of the city are within walking distance. We were in Konya by car, there were no problems with parking, as the hotel has its own underground parking (previous reservation needed).

This is my second time staying, and everything is wonderful n' exceptional! Thank you once again.

This hotel was exceptional. The staff were incredibly friendly and helped us with our luggage and any queries we had. The room was very comfortable, quiet and had water and snacks which were provided for free in the fridge. At reception, there were many items to purchase should these be required which was great, and free coffee. The facilities were great, it was a great location - the surrounding area was brilliant and the people in Konya were very friendly and accommodating for tourists, We felt very safe and comfortable in the hotel. Highly recommend!

The spa facilities are lovely! I used the sauna and hamam on a couple of evenings and also had a massage from Jyoti who was fabulous. Highly recommend if you are at the hotel. Excellent choice of food at breakfast. One gentleman (Z, a man in his 50s) at the reception desk with excellent English was particularly friendly and helpful. Bell boys were very polite. Hotel is well situated, near to Alaadin Hill, the tram stop and only a short walk from the main attractions. It's also near to many bus stops if you want to explore beyond Konya (Sille for example) Lovely roof top area. Perfect for a drink or food. Beautiful sunset from here.

There are notices in the hotel advising No Smoking so its a shame there is a slight smell of smoke in some corridors. The hotel is on a bit of a dark back street so were a little concerned when we first arrived but this is Konya, a perfectly safe, clean place!

Selçuk Hotel is right in the heart of Konya, therefore, it is a perfect starting point to discover the city. Due to the tram connection, it was also easy to reach it either from the train or the bus station. The hotel itself is very clean and the staff was really kind and hospitable. The room looked just like on the pictures; it was big enough with comfortable bed. Breakfast was fantastic, they offered a wide variety of cheese, olives, jam etc. - we could have a proper Turkish breakfast with fresh simit as well. We would gladly return.

It felt like air conditioning was not functioning well.

I am very grateful that I made the right choice to book selcuk hotel as our transit hotel on our way to Kapadokya. The only regret was that we wish we could have stayed longer in Konya. Hotel was centrally located in between the town square and Mevlana Muzesi. Hotel as its own underground parking space so you have a peace of mind not to worry on where to park and the safety of your vehicle. We are a family of four and booked a suite with 2 separate rooms. Room equipped with kitchen and was very spacious. There are so much to see in Konya and we will definitely come back in future. Hotel reception and service was great and they were very helpful. Wow! I was extremely surprised to find in Konya this hotel. When I stepped into the door I saw smiling face of a very nice girl on the reception. She is so professional and welcoming. That's a high standard really! The hotel itself is well furnished, cozy lobby with aquarium with fish, nice music. Room felt pretty much like home. Very comfy bed, table with snacks and tea/coffee. I wanted to stay longer but I had to go towards Cappadocia. The breakfast was amazing! You can even choose type of omlet for yourself. They will cook for you. Next time I will definitely choose the same hotel and stay few days to explore Konya more.

From the property Shems Tabraiz is approx a 5 minute leisurely walk away and Mevlana Rumi is a 10 minute leisurely walk away. The breakfast buffet variety caters to all. The beds and bedding are comfortable with a nice cozy clean feel. The bathroom is very nice with all the facilities you would expect of a proper four star hotel. This is a proper multi storey hotel offering quality service in the style of many such hotels. Our request to facilitate our 65+ year old mother with problem knees was very well accommodated. We were given the first room when coming out of the elevator on the relevant floor. The staff is very responsive and always available to speak on the phone. One feels well looked after.

Though the location is superb, there is a noise factor at night and some smoking happening in the alley outside the window so that if one wants to have the window open one can smell the smoke and be disturbed by the noise being made by passers by. Even with the window closed the noise from the passers by can be disturbing but it does not last beyond 11:30pm by my estimation over 2 nights of stay there.

Perfect for a short visit - pretty much lived up to expectations ( in a nice way - it’s a cheap booking). Receptionist ( who doubles as breakfast cook!) was fantastic. I arrived 3 hrs early but room was available so could drop off my stuff and start exploring. Room was basic ( but of a climb to upper floors) but clean and shower was hot on demand ( had to balance the shower head with much fun). Breakfast basic ( toast / egg / cheeses / cereals) in a very compact breakfast area. Location was perfect ( and room was quiet - off the main streets) - i went to theatre ( literally around the corner), short walk to Cathedral and into city centre. For me - it’s best described as a tired boutique hotel that delivers what you expect. I would stay again.
