Federation Motel Resort - Corowa

We had two rooms and they were both very spacious and comfortable. Bathroom was clean and spacious with a hot shower with great water flow that was a treat after long days exploring the area. Wifi worked well. Owners were friendly and introduced themselves.

Kids were a bit disappointed with the pool. Poorly lit in the late afternoon/evening, and the heated spa was a bit cool. Would have been good to have been able to take better advantage of those facilities - but to be fair, swimming in the first week of April is likely a low priority for most!

we booked a room for our daughter and her partner as well. The owners kindly offered them an upgrade which was very nice. It was a lovely setting with great facilities, the pool area had some lovely pods to retreat to when the sun got too much. Given it was it was a 35 degree day it was very welcomed, though the pool did close early (7:30pm) which was a shame as it was still very hot in the evening during our dinner. The owners did explain that they close early somethings because winery tour folk can get a little rowdy so we were understanding of the situation. A nice BBQ available in a cabana near the pool where we enjoyed our dinner into the evening. Very happy with our stay overall and can recommend this hotel.

The owners went out of there way to make our stay enjoyable. We had extra family staying at the Federation and sitting back by an excellent pool area was fantastic and greatly appreciated. The owners do take pride in there facilities and a very clean motel across all areas. I wished we had arrived earlier than 4:30pm

The room was very generous and very clean. The bedding and sheets were class above what I would have been expecting. Having 2 car parks for each room is excellent value and again well thought out by the owners. The pool area was clean, plenty of chairs and tables and a great undercover and grassed area. Really well kept property and clean.

The staff were brilliant, made us feel like it was home. The room was beautiful, clean and retro. The location was perfect for us with close access to Main Street. Great facilities and very quiet neighbours. 10/10 would recommend to families or travelling with spouse. The owners really went above and beyond to make us comfortable and had interest in our travels and needs - great local knowledge if you need any recommendations

As stated above this motel exceeded our expectations. Having been on the road for a few weeks and having stayed in various accommodations this was the best value motel. The location was very handy to the wineries of the Rutherglen area as well as the town centre and the Corowa Golf Course. The room was large and spotless and the renovated bathroom was excellent. The bed was extremely comfortable as were the pillows. As it was a hot day we took advantage of the pool and spa area which was wonderful. The whole complex is very well maintained and the managers were friendly and obviously proud of their business. Well done. We will definitely be back when next in the area.

Everything!! Owners are so so nice! Super comfy bed really good support! Truely believe they put lots of thoughts into renovation, the toilets are really good. The room is so big and comfortable! The best stay during our trip! Will come back! It's so close the Corowa distillery so worth to visit and take photos! Very close to MacDonald, RSL club

EVERYTHING IS WONDERFUL HERE!! HUGE, clean, updated, comfortable rooms, twice the size of normal motel rooms. The pool/spa area is like a tropical paradise. Greeted by kookaburras when taking your morning swim. The owners are really friendly, food is great, big BBQ area, heaps of parking space ... highly recommended

Absolutely NOTHING!

We loved our stay…everything was perfect, starting with the friendly welcome from Garry & Cathy. The room was stylish, well equipped & very comfortable (great bed). Felt like we were in a little Bali resort with the pool & sauna! Close to town & all the wineries. Garry & Cathy were always at hand to see if there was anything we needed or for helpful recommendations where to go, eat etc. Can’t wait to get back across the Murray for another stay. Many thanks.

The rooms were extremely clean, the staff were really friendly & passionate about their accommodation. The rooms were very large, plenty of room for a porta cott. Appreciated the living facilities like the fridge & microwave in our room, which made travelling with an infant THAT much easier. Also loved the bonus of the minivan for drop off & pick ups made a big group booking that much easier.

The heated spa was unavailable

The motel was clean, quiet and very comfortable and the rooms are quite large. The BBQ and pool area is ideal for relaxing. The owners/staff are professional, very friendly and extremely helpful.

We had a four night stay and the worst part was having to leave and go home. We will be back soon.
