Atlas Motel

It was a family room, with facilities and supplies for 4 people. It had a mini kitchen (which I didn't need), toaster, microwave, cutlery and crockery, iron and ironing board,. Parking was right at the door, and the room was on the ground floor as requested. The bed was quite comfortable.

The motel is showing its age and needs repairs. There were two tiles loose in the shower floor. The managers are very poor at communicating- my SMSs regarding possible late arrival went unanswered as did my first phonecall. The second call from a town nearer Dubbo was answered satisfactorily. Their decision to close the office at 7:30pm makes it challenging for some travellers.

The room was very clean and comfortable, the bed was very comfortable a great nights sleep after a long journey, bathroom great hot water, great shower, the room size was ok, there was a chopping board and bowls which surprised us, normally you don't see these items. TV was very clear. The bed side light was excellent I was able to read my book. Staff at check in friendly. Would definitely return if we are in the area again. We were very surprised how good the room was, the colours were perfect nice and light, a quiet location.

A sponge would of come in handy to wipe the table and bench down after use.

I travel all over Australia for business I came to dubbo and booked a few nights at the Atlas Motel Dubbo. I was greeted by a Friendly staff member and in literally 1 minute (completely hassle free!!) I had my room key. The room was much bigger than I assumed considering the price. The room was clean the bed was comfortable! After 3 nights i went to another hotel for a few night and then another but I have just come back to Atlas as its much better and somehow cheaper.... I will be staying at the Atlas Motel everytime I come to dubbo

No milk in fridge that's about

I like that there was stuff to clean and dry the dishes it was clean except the dishes and plenty of tea and coffee and even biscuits

I didn't like that the letter about the water contamination being inside the information book it should of been out in clear view to be seen people could get very ill because they have not seen it not good.Coffee cups and dishes not clean had to clean myself. No electric blankets I thought it is cold at night in the area .

We had our own meal. Location is near fast food restaurants like KFC which is ideal for visitors. Plenty of space for parking which is great. After checking out, you continued to show care and assistance. Next tike l will definitely pay another visit or recommend to others to your motel.

Charging ports or USB's for phones were not available.

The rest of the room was very clean, tidy and comfortable. The beds were amazingly comfortable. Staff were very friendly on arrival. The size of the room was great. I had my 4 children with me, and we had plenty of space.

The hot and cold water tap in the shower were broken and the shower had not been cleaned (there was empty soap packets on the floor). The reverse cycle in the room was not heating the room up. It may need a clean or something?

Convenient, have stayed here before.

There has been a change of management & there is less attention to cleanliness & detail. I spoke to the hotel cleaners who were very pleasant. Apologised, said they’d had numerous complaints & we’re dealing with the problem. I observed that the lady in charge went straight to the office to discuss this. The bed was spotless & very comfortable, so no change there.

Reception service was friendly, prompt and helpful. The room was clean. The bed was amazingly comfortable. Not often one gets such an excellent mattress and pillow. Motel was central to Dubbo.

Stairwell outside room was a bit grimy and dirty.

Staff were good & efficient checking you in, Room is clean, cutlery & utensils available, easy delivery of food arriving. sufficient space for working from my laptop & printing

In room 1, shower head leaks from the connection points, it would nice if there was sufficient space in the fridge for the water jug keeping it chilled not just the glasses

Loved that it catered for 6 adults in one room - we were looking for suitable accommodation and it had everything we needed for a two night stay.

My only complaint - but not really is that we could hear the guests in the next room from 5am in the morning - they were quite loud - workmen. The room was very suitable for our needs
