The location was excellent. The breakfasts were exceptional. The hosts were delightful and helpful and willing to make special arrangements for breakfast. They gave us tips on where to go to restaurants and what to do.

The airconditioning had to be switched on outside by our hosts. This meant that we had no control over the amount of heat. I feel the cold very much and found the room to be far too cold and was unable to do anything about it. Also the room was very dark. If I had realised that there was a suite to be had, I would most certainly have booked that. The room of the suite was much lighter and much more pleasant.

Breakfast was very nice, beautifully prepared and presented. I was attending a cycling event on one of the mornings meaning that I needed to be up early. This was not an issue, breakfast as requested was available at 6am. My partner who was not participating in the event had breakfast later and again was extremely satisfied with the breakfast, preparation and staff.

I couldn't stay longer than two nights .... hee heee. Seriously could not fault my stay everything was to my liking. We actually decided not to go out one afternoon and jus stay, relax and enjoy the beautiful verandah and garden

Robbie and Errol were generous hosts, giving advice on eating, house history and regional identities. Breakfast was amazing each day, the social areas beautiful and bedroom clean and comfortable. Highly recommended.

Parking is a little constricted, so make sure you speak with Errol or Robbie about suitable parking spots.

Breakfast well balanced, great variety of continental and cooked, delicious fresh fruit compote, loved the smoothie as an extra touch. Tea, coffee, tasty snacks available throughout the day. Very beautiful historic house and garden, peaceful, quiet, great location with walking distance to everything in town. Enjoyed the nearby riverside walk each morning.

Wonderful hosts. Magnificent old family owned house. The rooms were spacious, the bathrooms new and sparkling, and the hot water, sizzling. It was great to me met by Errol and chatting with him; breakfasts beautifully prepared and presented by Robbie and Marian and I loved sitting in the parlour in the late afternoon reading. When I felt like it, I made a coffee or tea and snacked on a wonderful selection of biscuits and snacks, and on return at night, a small port or sherry. There is a lovely walk along the river (directly across the road) and a multiplicity of dining options within 10-15 minutes walk. We loved our stay!!

We loved this beautiful home with the wide verandas and magnificent garden. Robbie and Errol made us feel so welcome and the breakfasts were prepared with love and care. Delicious! The location is perfect as was our whole stay. Superb!

This was an incredibly beautiful, comfortable, luxurious stay in Mudgee. Breakfast was five star!! Morning and afternoon tea around a fireplace in a fully restored heritage property with well tended gardens, spacious verandah overlooking glorious gardens. Port, sherry, chocolates, sweets, who would want to leave?

Absolutely nothing.
