Wallsend Executive Apartments

Clean and tidy, with lots of space and amenities (dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, cutlery, ducted heating and cooling). Beds were comfortable and I loved the 3 bathrooms. The shopping centre, with a Coles and a couple of restaurants, was only a 5 min drive away.

There was no Smart TV which meant we had to watch streaming services on our laptop (quite unusual for exec apartments). The parking was very tight and the residence was on a main road. The wifi internet was slow at times.

Large 2 bedroom 2 bathroom town house. Kitchen was well equipped. Rooms were clean.

The fridge had a bad smell. We accidentally locked ourselves out on the 3rd day and had a moment of panic, we had to call reception (which manages 7 properties and isn't on site) who told us there was a lock box with a key - it would have been good to be told that at the start. There's no lock between the garage and the house. The couches are pretty uncomfortable. Road noise from the front bedroom was pretty loud

Very modern good facilities well equipped. Good units very spacious big bathrooms.

In main bedroom a lot of dust on side tables. Also in a few rooms slats were missing from blinds. Caused most issue in master as one slat missing let the light straight in your face. I had to find stuff to hang to block out the sun as I have blockout blinds at home.

Place was organised, had essentials (cutlery, glasses, mugs, coffee/tea, complementary biscuits, complementary milk, tea towels, toaster, kettle); locked garage, detergent for washing machine. Instructions were put up on use of AirCon was clear - depicting both ground level and upper level/bedrooms (thank you!)

Carpet underneath the coffee table was noticeably stained. I'm pretty sure it is vacuumed all the time. This is just sharing a first impression/first sight. Car parking was slightly tight but expected in advance based on other reviewers/tenants notes. Tip: reverse park in to the garage helped me to get in easier compared to driving straight in to the garage.

Loved the king sized bed, and the air conditioned heating was lovely. Kitchen was well equipped, and everything was well stocked throughout the apartment. I only wished we could have stayed longer to enjoy the outside area and balcony off the main bedroom. Garage parking with internal access was great too!

The apartment had plenty of room .

Could of been a bit more cleaner .Ants in the kitchen on the sink and benches and stale milk spilt under crisper in fridge and also found a cone out of a bong in the dryer .

The unit was spacious and well set out with internal access to a private garage. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment and utensils. The beds were very comfortable and both bedrooms having an ensuite was great.

There were no staff in attendance so unable to comment. Our unit was right on a very busy street with traffic racing up and down and very loud until 3pm in the morning so I only had about 4hrs sleep. The milk portions in the fridge were all curdled and unable to be used and one of the mugs at the front of the cupboard had a chip on the rim. The advice note on the kitchen table that if any cleaning such as vaccuuming or bins had to be emptied after our stay we would be charged additional to the $224 per night was quite confronting. Especially in these times of Covid I would expect that to comply with Covid standards any necessary cleaning as well as changing sheets for the next clients would be mandatory and standard best practice.

Final touches to help make us comfortable like turning on aircon on a hot day. On arrival the inside temp was perfect. Very clean bathrooms, kitchen and bedding is super comfy.

Little bit noisy next to the highway and the air freshener used by cleaning staff is very strong.

The property was spacious and clean, it is on a main road however we didn’t find noise an issue and it was convenient having a petrol station so close.

The property needs a few new vertical blinds as there were some missing meaning light came into the room.

It was very spacious, clean, and a wonderful layout. Absolutely loved the out door area, air-conditioned was perfect.

The blinds in one of the rooms didn't have sufficient block out abilities and was rather bright in the evenings and when the sun came up. No remote for the garage was tricky leaving and coming back to the apartment with my toddler alone.
