lovely old building. and the location is amazing. my room was very clean and comfy.

Sharing bathrooms has its downsides, obviously. One of the bathrooms was on usable as someone had left water all over the floor plus lots of hair, and urine still sitting in the toilet bowl. Very offputting to say the least. The shower overflowed … All over the entire bathroom floor, and I had to use both my towels to keep my feet dry enough to get dressed. I did not have an extra long shower either.

A fab choice! So welcoming, the best location possible and at a great price also. (Shared bathrooms for all rooms though) We loved the garden, the crazy bush turkeys roaming around and the bargain price brekkie. The awesome Sydney skyline is only a few hundred meters away. Really happy with our stay and my family loved it equally as much. This will be my base from now on for any future Sydney vacations.

No car parking so leave the car outside the city centre.

It’s close to the most iconic places in Sydney, dog friendly, there are 2 options of breakfast for a fair price and the room is equipped with desk and a little handy fridge. There are parking spots available on the street nearby, but only for 2 hours.

Despite the fact that the price of the room is cheap, for everything else you pay a fair amount of money. Car parking price per day on the 5th of June 2022: $35; Dog fee per day: $35; For the days I needed it, there were no car parking spots available. The share bathroom is unisex. The only toilet available for women close to my room got clogged once. staff straightaway fixed it, however, it only didn’t cause more inconvenience because the hotel was not too busy.

Kirribili is excellent location. Near to the tourist area with lots of restaurants nearby and accessible by walk, ferry and train. The location is one stop away from Kirribilli to the iconic Sydney Opera House. The stayed in single room with shared bathroom - the room is clean spacious enough for me. They don't have amenities in the room so you need to request it from their reception or housekeeping. I suggest you bring your own so no need to go outside your room since room service telephone is not available. The receptionists are friendly and informative about the location.

I think they can give information / location guide to all the guest one day before arrival how they can reach in the lodge from specific point so that it will be easier for them to follow especially for those who have no available internet and carrying luggage by themselves.

Location for Glenferrie lodge is superb, the panoramic views from the waterfront walk are simply stunning - go at sunset or in evening. Its easy access from the city by ferry from circular quay (just 5 minutes) it is also in a quiet and hip neighborhood with great cafes, restaurants, bars and takeaways. The lodge itself is homely, a lovely large garden and dining room and microwave is very handy. Spotlessly clean and there was never a queue for the showers!. I'd definitely stay here again. Oh and staff are very helpful.

Lovely location, easy to get to a lot of ferry ports, and train station. Very quaint little village feel, with all the amenities that you would need for a coffee break, supermarket, beer shop, restaurant, and gelato. Hotel staff were super accommodating. Breakfast included was a bonus. Bed was so comfy. Shared bathroom was respectfully clean when used by all guests, plenty of bathrooms aswell. Fridge was very handy. Tea and coffee facilities. Perfect for a holiday, or work related stay. The gardens were full of ropical birds.

The tea and coffee was not replaced. However, I didn't actually run out and could have asked, so it this is just a little comment, which is probably unjustified.

I love how unique this hotel. It's located in the middle of major attractions in Sydney. The bed is comfy and packed with amenities for that range of price. I booked a single room (1 bed) and it's all you need for solo traveler like me.

Well, I thought that this hotel will also come with a pair of sleepers or thongs. I didn't plan for them, because I thought the hotel provided it as complimentary. But that's not a big problem.

The staff went above and beyond to meet the needs of our group - we were staying close to the Yacht Squadron for a Regatta. The rooms were excellent value for money, their set up in the dining room for breakfast and team debriefs was perfect. We very much appreciated that they organised catering for our lunches and dinners too. Thank you so much Glenferrie Lodge.

Given the fact this was a lodge, there was little to fault. It was clean, comfortable and perfect for our Sailing team. There were the usual hotel noises like fans and air con units during the night - but I was located right next to the bathroom!

The quality of the breakfast was good but the Bain Marie's were often being refilled too slowly causing wait times on some food items. The quiet mornings ,Birdlife and parking are all great

The bathroom/ toilets have no bathmats many was the time I got wet Socks or feet going to the toilet and this made it slippery as well if you wore thongs.
