Meriton Suites North Sydney

Room was great spacious open plan kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed .. all additional items that we requested fir our 5 day stay were promptly delivered to our room. Really enjoyed our stay would absolutely recommend the Meriton to friends and family🤩

I feel obliged to share this feedback .. I hope it helps while we really did enjoy our stay we were moved from 602 to 902 on the basis that the toilet and mirrors were not cleaned at all it looked as though the rooms cleaning had not been completed… 902 was absolutely clean however on our final day as your suites were not being cleaned daily due to Covid we were devastated to see that the quilt had an enormous what looked like a blood stain so on our final night we opted to sleep without the quilt . Will not however hold this against any future stay at the Meriton it was overall a good experience. Thank you Rheinola

On arrival the reception lady was fantastic even letting us into the room earlier than expected. She also took us to the lift and explained how they work. The room was better than we were expecting and matched all the facilities shown in the photos on the website. It was very clean and comfortable with lounge suite, dining table and chairs. The North Sydney train station is only 5 minutes walk away and we used public transport throughout our stay which was great. There are shops in the next street including Coles and take away. Room was serviced once during our 4 day stay which was very good. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. This property is fantastic and fairly new.

Nothing to dislike. Highly recommend.

Clean room, good facility.

Only one annoyed point that the noise made by the elevator when it is running.

We really liked the location, it was minutes away from the bridge and minutes away from the North Sydney station. It was really convenient to get around, was great value and we loved having a full little kitchen and washing machine / dryer. The staff were helpful and we plan to stay again.

We took a taxi from the airport and it was over $80; taking the train from the hotel to the airport was so easy we regretted not trying on the way in. No fault of the hotel just a comment for tourists staying in the future. Its so easy to train don't waste money on a taxi!

We loved to stay at Meriton in everywhere we going. Because Meriton are excellent services, and all staff are welcome and friendly. Same like at Meriton North Sydney, Usually we stayed here we will get the room in the North Sydney CBD side and never below then level 9 but this time we are on level 7 and the room with harbour views side, and hyw views. At firstwe thoughtwill be noisy but it doesn't noisy at all. It was nice and Excellent views. And had double two glass doors at the front of balcony. It's a very quiet room. You will never hear the noise from out side. A very good and excellent. The place be close to transport and shopping centre. Be close to the coffee shops and restaurants. All excellent place, great services and good staff.

Nothing at all with any navigation. All excellent.

I didn’t like that the property wanted to record my driver’s licence number. I was OK with them wanting to see my licence to verify that I was who I say I was. I was not OK with them wanting to record my licence number in their systems. The staff insisted it was “company policy” but they have no reason to take a copy of personal identifiable information (PII), particularly when I have no knowledge of their security systems. The staff initially threatened that they could not honour my booking without it. Fortunately, they saw the logic in my position and moved on without it. The policy of the property needs to be amended and PII that can be used for fraud, such as driver’s licences, should never be stored.

From the moment we stepped into the hotel and were greeted with such friendsly smiles from reception we knew we had chosen well. Before arriving we contacted the hotel to say we would be arriving early and could they keep our luggage until check in, which was not a problem. When we arrived in fact, the room was ready and what a great room with everything we could possibly need, it far outreached our expectations. The location was ideal, could get everywhere we needed, first rate. Thank you it made our stay in Sydney PERFECT. Already recommending to friends.

the lady that checked us out not sure if it was because we were a little late in coming down to check out, our apologies but she seemed irritated for what ever reason at the end of the day we are paying customers if there was a problem she could have respectfully said so rather than the cold shoulder or if that’s her on a normal day she could do with a little friendly customer service training I could be wrong although whatever the reason she was quite cold lady that checked us in so helpful and friendly

Great location close to train station. Supermarkets & pubs/restaurants nearby. Close enough to walk down to harbor & Luna Park. Bedding & pillows were super comfy.

Unfortunately due to the design of the building, you could hear the elevators goimg up & down at all times. I stayed in 2 rooms in 3 weeks & on 4th floor elevator noise was prevalent, where as on 9th floor, the noise was reduced but still there. It sounded like wind through the aircon ducting but was actually the elevators. Another thing that really annoyed me was that reception rang the room to se when we were checking out. Yes we were 10 minutes past check out time, but we had just spent 4 nights there & I considered that rude. Very unhappy with that.

This location in North Sydney was a great option from the crowds of central Sydney, and it's only 2 train stops away (no need to get an Oyster Card; credit cards can be "tapped" as well). We arrived the day before NYE, and we were able to see the skyline of fireworks outside of the lobby. Be aware that dinner choices after 7 p.m. are fewer in North Sydney, but we were able to still enjoy a different venue for our 3-night stay.

It would have been nice to have a detailed walking map around this specific location..
