Campanile Hotel & Restaurant Gent

Compared to other hotels in Ghent, the price of this hotel fee is pretty reasonable. Our room was very quiet and there are one big supermarket very close to the hotel, so it is very easy to go shopping from the hotel. Ghelamco Arena is also close from the hotel, so it is quite convenient place to enjoy soccer matches in Ghent.

The floor and the bed in our room was not very clean. We also felt the enterance of our room was quite narrow, so we felt hard to go through the enterance with our big luggage. If one prefers to stay at a place close from the Ghent city center, then it would better to choose another place to stay.

Staff were so kind so welcoming helpful and very friendly l However there was no fridage, Phone was not working and you may have the noise of next rooms very load and near to your door.

Noise some times

Room was ok, breakfast was very good, lots of variety. Staff helpful, overall a good experience. Internet in our room was very fast, a plus in my opinion. Bus stp in front of hitel with busses running to the city centre every 20 minutes.

Daily cleaning could be better. dust on the floor throughout our stay. Only one electrical socket in the room.

It is a simple stop over location. A decent bed and bathroom, room totally acceptable. The food/public area is functional and OK. The staff were SUPERB, so welcoming, helpful and natural. Food was nice too. All in all for a budget stay, on transportation nexus, can't fault it.

The breakfast was simple but very tasty. Also the staff was always friendly and this is valid for all staff.

If there was a safety box and a refrigerator, then I should gave it a much higher score

Rooms have large windows that look out on a balcony that is used to access all the rooms. They do not have curtains, only nets and this means at night when you are inside with the light on people walking past can see in to the room - you have no privacy.

The Staff was very nice. The room was Clean and comfortable, there were some sweets on the pillow and some coffee and tea for the Water heater. The Bus Station was 1 Minute away, so i could easily go to the centre.

Could not open the window at night, due to the loud noise of the factory.

Great location as was straight off the motorway. We went to an event at the football stadium and it was just a few minutes walk away. Free parking was a bonus too.

The restaurant was closed and there wasn't many other options for food nearby.

Good staff reception and breakfast. Good location to park your car and very secure.

Some edges of the bathroom need attention. Around stairs at the end side need attention.

Good bed, good value for money

the cleaning staff were quite aggressive and knock on the door each morning. this was my only poor experience they should train the staff never to do this
