Hotel Atlântico Travel Copacabana

the location

To me it seems that the hotel is not 4 star. The breakfast was quite basic and the room and bed was quite small.

The hotel is in a great location, not far from the beach at all, with supermarkets and lots of different shops near by, as it is very central. We had a fridge where we were able to keep things we had bought from the shops, and the TV had Netflix and YouTube. The selection of food at the breakfast service was good, however we stayed for a week and it got very samesy, but there are shops outside the hotel if you wanted a change.

The floor in our hotel was dirty, you would want to wear shoes around the hotel room as otherwise your feet got filthy. We had to ask for new towels / soaps etc at the receptions a couple of times. However, these were minor issues compared to the location and quality of the room for the price.

Location, cleanliness

Only parking is public road to the side of hotel. Nothing wrong. BUT. There are troublemakers called "Flanelinhas" Being agressive and abusive demanding money to park. I Actually had to leave somone watching Motorcycle. These guys are NOT legal, authorised or anything to do with the Prefecture. It is a problem affecting all three hotels here. They need to jointly address Prefecture and Police to perform cockroach removal excercise. (Video on request).

Diversity of offers on the breakfast table, very clean, comfortable, nice bedroom, nice tv, all elevators worked

The room card was usually not working, no hot water (but the city was boiling so we didn't mind), no internet in the room, smart tv could not work due to the absence of internet

I like everything the hotel and reception too was very nice

unfortunately they do not work with different kind of machines only the Safra company, my card didn’t work and they didn’t have other options to serve me only to go out for a cashpoint and as turismo we get charged a lots of us to take money out . that was unique sad thing happened. they should be able to work with more options of machine no only one machine. maybe next time they try think about it .

Great location and good value. It was nice to have Netflix for relaxed evenings. Breakfast was good, but it can also be manic as the room is way too small for the number of guests there.

We had a double bed, but the sheet was not even closely big enough for the mattress. So every night we stayed here, we were just sleeping on a mattress without a sheet, as it was impossible to keep it in the correct place. Our bedding also had holes in it.

Good breakfast, the property is well maintained and the room was pretty neat and clean. Very good location in Copacabana, just a few minutes away from the beach. Supermarket, drugstore, and restaurants in the near area within walkable and safe distance. The room was not specially big, but enough for short stay for adults, probably not the best for children.

Could have more options of bread and cakes for breakfast.

The location is really good, the room was comfortable and breakfast was ok.

The cleaning service was not good, since I spilled some pudding on the floor and it was never removed or cleaned up even tho they came in to “clean” the room.

Very close to the beach with easy transportation across town. Sure the rooms are small and the tvs aren’t great, but we didn’t come to Rio to watch tv. For the price and location, we were satisfied. They reserved a city tour for us that was the highlight of our trip.

The towels in the room are old and very tattered. We asked room service for more and got better ones right away. Also the hot water never really worked.

For how much you pay this hotel values much more. The location is perfect, staff is extremely kind and helpful. Rooms are small, but who comes to rio for stating in the room?
