Breakfast was incredible. It went way beyond any expectations I had. Very gourmet and healthy, local farm to table ingredients and unique (soufflé, crepes). Sophie is really a wonderful French chef! Sophia and Gilles are very friendly and accommodating hosts and offered excellent dinner, winery, and other recommendations. The location is great. It is just a short 5-8 minute easy stroll to Queen Street so no need to drive there and pay for parking your car (assuming you are able to find parking). We also enjoyed relaxing in their beautiful and well equipped back yard. Just an overall wonderful experience.

Nothing we didn't like. Consider putting a cup in bathroom for rinsing mouth/taking medicine and a bench to sit on to put shoes on by the front door.

The hosts were wonderful - kind and informative and fun to talk to! They also recommended a winery where we had a fantastic time - definitely take them up on their recommendations! The food was delicious both mornings and there was great conversation with the other guests. There were always snacks available and the backyard was a lovely oasis with lots of options and areas for seating. It was a short walk, just a few blocks of beautiful houses, to downtown.

Sophie and Gilles were the perfect hosts. Her house is beautiful and is close to historic Queen Street. Everything is immaculately clean and lovingly decorated. The breakfast was exceptional. Actually there are no words for it. There was something different every morning. It was lovingly prepared using local produce. And it was always delicious. In the evening you could sit on the terrace in the garden and watch nature. There is a lot to see. We would love to come back anytime. We immediately felt at home here.

I never imagined we would have so much privacy staying at a b&b. By far one of the best mini vacations we've ever had. The food, the view, the hosts.....AMAZING!!! Big, private rooms. Location was in walking distance of many attractions. Sophie and Gilles served up delicious meals and wonderful breakfast conversations. They provided great recommendations based on our interests. We immediately booked our next visit. Look no further. This is the PERFECT spot. TRES BIEN!!!

Sophie is an amazing cook and puts so much thought, creativity, and passion into her food!! Gilles and Sophie are amazing and attentive hosts. Gilles also fired up the pizza oven and grilled us Sophie’s fruit pizzas which we ate outdoors in the lovely backyard. Breakfasts were delicious and fun!

We loved our stay with Sophie and Gilles at La Maison de Sophie. The stay here was the highlight to our weekend! We thoroughly enjoyed every bite over fresh made fruit bowls, chocolate French toast, egg soufflés , smoked peameal, and brewed coffee! We felt so welcome and had a wonderful time getting to know our hosts and other guest more over breakfast and even in the back patio over some cocktails. The room was big and bright, clean, and the bed was super comfortable ! We left our stay feeling like we made new friends! Thank you so much for sharing your home, meals, and laughs with us!! We will come back again and see you soon!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay @ Maison de Sophie B&B in beautiful Niagara-on-the-Lake last weekend! We were warmly welcomed by Sophie & Gilles, our gracious hosts, in their sparkling home which featured many amenities.The gourmet breakfasts served daily by Sophie were truly unparalleled in flavour, inventiveness and quality - clearly prepared with passion! The B&B itself is strategically located; a mere 5-minute walk to the heart of NOTL proper. It was a pleasure enjoying a cup of coffee with fellow houseguests on the backyard deck overlooking the lawn. We anticipate a return in the near future with a longer stay - merci beaucoup!

The breakfasts were different every day and each one was exceptional. The hosts were anxious to please, helped us with our luggage and checking in and checking out were quick and easy.

Our room was cold and there was no thermostat in the room to adjust the temperature.

We absolutely loved everything! Clean, great location. The breakfast was outstanding but the best of all was the hospitality. Sophie & Gilles, the best host I've ever had. They are special. We arrived as guest, we left as friends. Thank you! Merci! Gracias!

We liked everything!

We loved our stay at La Maison de Sophie! Sophie and Gilles were very kind and gracious and made us feel at home. We stayed at the Italy Room with nice decorations. Sophie made delicious breakfast for us and we had access to varieties of tea and coffee. The location was in a quiet and beautiful neighbourhood with walking distance to the main street and the lake.

There is nothing that we didn't like about our stay.
