Serene Niagara Inn

We stayed 2 nights at the Serene. Lovely comfy bed. The room and bathroom were very clean. The Wifi had a very good connection. The breakfast was good and the owner Jai makes a delicious veggie omelette. I forgot toothpaste and was given complimentary toothpaste/brush which I thought was nice. Free parking. The location is good, the Rainbow bridge and Falls are about a 15/20 walk. If one walks up the hill and head left, the road takes you into the middle of town where most of the bars and restaurants are. FREE PARKING! this is a bonus in Niagara,

We had a very pleasant stay here. The only thing we missed was a small set of drawers or cupboard to hang our clothes or a luggage rack for the suitcase...but this is a minor blip.

Situated close to falls and Clifton Hills in calm neighbourhood. Very warm, nice and clean property. They are welcoming guests as if they know them for a long time, which I liked very much! Spacious bed, the cleanest bathroom I've ever seen and Netflix made my stay cozy and nice. The breakfast the next was just the one I needed - delicious and balanced, a great way to start your day. All in all, this was all I needed for my trip to Niagara and even more! I would definitely recommend Serene for travellers, and I wish the owners all the best and prosperity!

what a great little gem to stay at and experience Niagara! the room was clean and comfortable and the owners are amazing! so friendly and accommodating. it was our anniversary, and for a VERY small fee they had flowers and wine ready in the room, and even a ballon! the wife loved it! breakfast is fabulous!! i just could not say enough good about this spot. It is only a block from the bus stop that serves all the Niagara attractions, or about a 30-40 minute walk to horseshoe falls. we did the walk three times and enjoyed it very much. It is close enough to be very convenient but far enough to be quite and not feel like you are right in the middle of the very loud and busy tourist strip. A+ would stay again 100%.

I love the place, squeaky clean. breakfast is simple but lovely! super quiet at night. Jai and her husband were so helpful. I requested for another heater because the room is cold and they gave me an extra one. I love the coffee machine in every room and the furnishings! feels like home!

I didn’t bring a car so I had to walk from the bus terminal to the inn. distance from Clifton Hill is 15 min walk. you have to prepare to walk a lot if you don’t have a car like me. otherwise, location is perfect for those who have cars to move around!

We loved how quiet it was considering how close it was to the attractions. The hostess prepared a large breakfast that was very filling with fresh fruit, juice, coffee and a very large omelette cooked to order. The room was clean and had a view of the gorge from the window. Modern restroom and off street parking. We took a casual walk to the falls which was about 15 minutes away. Couldn't have asked for more.

We couldn't find a single thing that we didn't like about the property, host/hostess, room, breakfast, etc... We would highly recommend it for a single or couple.

Very friendly and accommodating owners. Easy check in process and owner was very welcoming when we arrived later at night. Breakfast was always so perfect and she have us a nice welcome bottle of wine from one of the many wineries in the area. So very close to the falls and activities within the falls. We saved so much on parking since we could walk everywhere and had free parking with our lodging. We would definitely stay here again. Loved the vibe and the owners are impeccable.

The accommodations were very pleasant. I was not aware, until the day of check in, that although our room had a private bathroom, it was not attached to our bedroom. It was down the hallway (not far at all). We had a key for our bathroom if we wanted to lock it, as the bathroom was only for us, despite it being in the hallway. The other rooms have their bathroom within the rooms. This didn’t damper our experience, it just would have been nice to know we didn’t have an embedded bathroom, especially since we had to ensure we were dressed appropriately going to/from the bathroom. A minor inconvenience.

We were taken care of from the moment we arrived! Jai went out of her way to ensure we got our breakfast exactly how we wanted it. Both the room and the service was everything we hoped for and more. Jai mentioned things have been challenging the last couple of years due to COVID but is hopeful for a great 2023, if you are deciding between a larger chain hotel or a smaller inn or BnB give this spot a chance and support a small business!

This place is an outstanding B&B. It's run by a couple who truly care about their guests. the bed was super comfortable and the heat pump system maintained cool air despite it being hot and humid outside (we were there in August). It's about a ten-minute walk from the Canadian overlook of the American falls and the hustle-and-bustle of downtown, but is itself in a very quiet location. You won't go wrong here.

It's hard to fault anything in this little gem, but the room we were in had an amazingly narrow bathroom. It's almost certainly the result of renovating an existing house to provide each room with a private bath.

What did I like? Everything!!! Exceptional!!! This B&B exceeded our expectations. The hostess Jai and her husband are wonderful, very attentive to details from our arrival time until our departure. Comfortable rooms, mattress and pillows, and most importantly, very clean. Hot water is available all times. Breakfast was superb. Location: just minutes away from all the attractions, which is perfect, no need to pay for additional parking. I highly recommend it. Definitely will return.

The vintage exterior is deceiving; it is clean and modern on the inside. Great made to order included omelette breakfast which would cost $20 pp at a restaurant. Quiet location away from the tourist noise and hustle and bustle yet a short walk to the falls. Very comfortable bed. Friendly and helpful staff with great suggestions of what to do. Free parking.

I did not know we would get a bathroom down the hall, I expected an en suite. But it was no problem. Bathroom was squeaky clean well furnished, and accessible only to us.
