Delta Hotels by Marriott Ottawa City Centre

Good hotel in a prime location. Very friendly and professional team. The room we got was clean. There is a restaurant with a bar on the main floor (open till 11 p.m.). The hotel's lobby is connected to the Tim Hortons coffee shop. Cross the street you can take a METRO (Lyon station) and get to ByWard Market (all the jot places are locked there).

At breakfast, I asked if I could get a few basic vegetables like tomatoes, salad, or cucumbers (they only served an omelet, bacon, sausages, and potatoes for the meal). There were a few more pastries and chowder but no vegetables at all. So I asked if I could ask the kitchen for some basic vegetables. I was told that they can bring it, but with an extra charge!!! Really? Extra charge for a few vegetables???? I was shocked. The entire sauna area in the women's showers must be renovated as soon as possible!!! Ceramics are broken and almost falling down from the wall. The wooden doors are worn and the heat control panel is rusted.

We have stayed several times here, but this time was extra exceptional. I was there alone for a couple of days as my daughter was moving into residence and my van would not start and when I went to the front desk to ask if someone knew which company I could call to help out the young man at the front desk(and I feel horrible for not getting his name as I was extremely stressed and in a hurry) insisted on taking a look at my van himself even though he was nicely dressed in his suit and I am so grateful he was able to get it started for me. He went above and beyond for me not knowing how much it meant on a very emotional day.

Check in was smooth and easy. We stayed in the hotel for Bluesfest, and with Lebreton Flats just a short walk away, the location was ideal! Our room was spacious and comfortable.

We ordered in-room dining between 4 and 5. After waiting almost an hour, we called back for an update and were informed that she misheard the room number, even though I repeated it 3 times. Despite the hiccup, she was very polite, gracious, apologetic, and provided drinks free of charge for the inconvenience. I suggest initiating a system to track calls from room numbers, if one doesn't already exist.

We really enjoyed our stay in Ottawa. The room was very comfortable, especially the bed (if u prefer firmer matresses). We were pleasantly surprised that there were full sized toiletries in the bathroom. The hotel was very clean. The pool and gym were the highlight of our stay. It's not often that hotels have pools with deep ends that are as deep as 2.5 meters. Staff was friendly. Parking was standard rate.

Our room was on the smaller side, but it was definitely reasonable for the price point. Overall, we would recommend this hotel!

Great location and nice room. Staff was pretty helpful and did their best to address any issues (e.g, upon mentioning a problem with our toilet to cleaning staff, it was immediately taken care of).

Bed was extremely squeaky (would squeak with any slight movement). Air in room was very dry and I woke up very congested. Unfortunately, we weren’t able to crack our window since we were on the 21st floor and hotel did not have any humidifiers available.

we really enjoyed our vacation! the hotel is very Weil located and the staff is very Nice! they really took care of us and the service is excellent! the bed is so comfortable and we had a room at the 20th floor with a nice view. we really recommand this hotel! we had the chance to arrive earlier and they gave us our room earlier which is really appreciated.

the only thing I could tell is the fact the coffee machine was not simply to use and the chromacast didn’t work at all as Weil as the phone in our room.

The location is great! 10mins walk from the Parliament Hill, perfect to see the night light show. The restaurant in the hotel is also a great bonus. I loved the blackout curtains.

The room could be connected to the other room through two sets of doors closed from both sides. It is great for families but because of that I could hear what was happening in the other room, especially with loud neighbours.

It was a short visit. While waiting for the other family members to arrive I was offered a bottle of water by the check-in employee. The men on duty at the tourist booth were pleasant and helpful with maps and directions. My niece found an excellent manner in which to take her and ALL her luggage to the airport, and housekeeping staff were very considerate.

Honestly, there was nothing to dislike.

The staff was really helpful, and good at their job. The rooms were decent and I liked the swimming pool. The house keeping staff really did a good job.

The breakfast lacked good healthy options for the price charged. The location was nice but there were constructions going on which was not ideal

The staff were so friendly and helpful and were willing to accommodate any special requirements we had. The hotel in general and our room as well, were very clean, well-maintained and comfortable. The meals we had, both breakfast and dinner during our two day stay, were very good. We would definitely stay here again.

The price at the time we stayed was quite high compared with some other hotels, but as this was Friday and Saturday nights during the Freedom Convoy 2022, choices were few and far between. We were told by other guests that the prices had risen since the previous week. We understand why they would do this...fair enough. We were still happy with our stay.
