I had a great stay at InterContinental Chongqing Raffles City. Arrived at noon and was kindly upgraded and allowed to check in early by Manager Wang. He was apologetic though I didn't queue for long at Check In. The process was fast and smooth. Mr Wang was professional and friendly. Concierge was helpful at level 42 and spoke great English. Security staff was also great at level 42. Security noticed a man doing a live and was constantly trying to get me in his live and as soon as the staff noticed he quickly came into action. He stood in between the man and I, therefore I was not captured in the live video. He went extra miles by going to the lift with me. I will return when I visit Chongqing again. Thank you for the amazing hospitality!

We only had 1 night stay at Intercontinental Raffles City but we were so overwhelmed by the beauty of this hotel, from the lobby, to the room and the atmosphere at Botanica with its 251-meter high forest. Our room has a very nice view to admire the magnificent views of Yangtze River’s brown merging with Jialing River’s blue. The breakfast stations was huge with lots of choice. We enjoyed our stay and do recommend.

Excellent variety of breakfast choices , I’ll give it a perfect ten if they can provide decaffeinated coffee which sadly wasn’t provided . Overall it’s great .

guest services manager Chelsea provided exceptional service for wife and I. she delivered personalized bi-lingual service up to and during our taxi ride. the afternoon tea and evening cocktail amenities were sublime.

The service recovery from the ceiling leak was excellent - the staff were super apologetic, immediately moved us to a different room, and offered to dry clean all our dirty clothes. More broadly, the hotel is in a good location with super comfortable beds and an excellent breakfast.
There was an almighty leak (I think it was caused by faulty air conditioning) from the ceiling above the wardrobe and safe deposit box at 2am.
