Hotel Amager

The hotel and the bar have a certain charm to them, the rooms were clean and the staff was very friendly. This is one of the few reasonably priced places to stay in Copenhagen (close to the airport) and I very much prefer this part of the town (including the regulars at the bar) to other more touristy parts.

My blinds did not close properly and despite several friendly nudges, they were not fixed during the four days of my stay (did you know that the sun rises at around 4:00am in Copenhagen in June?). The breakfast was rather simple and the included coffee an atrocity.

great location, easy to access from the metro. There was a bar below the property with plenty of restaurants within walking distance

don’t expect to check in early. 3pm on the dot.

I arrived in Copenhagen. I didn't choose a hotel very well, the most important thing was that it was close to the center, the distance was walking distance. I chose Hotel Amager. Upon arrival, I saw that I was in a daze and did not notice that there would be no kettle in the room. I'm a coffee fanatic. Coffee in Copenhagen is very expensive £5-£6, so you can see my disappointment, hotel manager Tony offers me a big cup of coffee every morning👍🏻. Many thanks to all the staff, Boris, Dennis, Alidon and a very big thanks to Christine, you are always very nice treated me Thank you friends, it's a nice cozy feeling, like your own among your own! location and convenience

we arrived earlier than we we’re supposed to, and we had to deal with someone very unpleasant.. because we were carrying 2 very heavy luggages , and check in was 5 hours later .. fine , as customers we ask nicely if we could leave our luggages somewhere so we could visit the city and envoy our day .. his replied « no » I’m sorry period ! C’mon !!! never seen that in some other hotels !!!! … so finally we had to figure something out and we found an amazing person the restaurant 1 street away who kept our 2 luggage in a safe place till the checkin .. she was amazing and very nice . so even the hotel was convenient Id never ever go back there .. Disappointing !!! but seems like they don’t care about customer service they are always full .. that’s Why

Very convenient location, a few stops on the same line as the beach and airport, a few stops in the opposite direction for the centre. Staff very friendly and helpful and let us leave my bike in the room. Room was clean and comfortable. A bit noisy if you had to keep the window open at night but otherwise quiet.

No tea and coffee making facilities in the room which would have been nice . TV didn't work at all, shower spray pointed everywhere but where you were standing!

Great hotel, and also among the cheapest on the booking.com portal. Quite close to a metro station, just in front of a main bus line, in between reasonable places to eat. The personnel was friendly and everything went fine. I will come back to this hotel for sure, especially if it stays among the cheapest in CPH.

Everything was fine. Maybe the heating system is not the most powerful ever, but it does its job. Everything else was really good.

A good value for money. A sufficient breakfast. The town centre is not too far. Good public transport connection to the town and airport.

The TV or the data connection for the TV needs a check und probably a fix because not all TV programs are working (a lot of pixel-errors - distorted picture / only fragments of the picture).

Perfect hotel for a 2-days stay. I had to leave there my bags in the early morning, and the receptionist had no problem with that. The check-in was very fast and the room (and the bathroom) was cleaned every day. Plus, the location is exactly what I was looking for.

This is a tough one. It wasn't that easy to regulate the temperature of the shower? Apart from that, I am totally satisfied with my stay.

Clean and cozy room, nice staff and a good area of town. Everything we needed was nearby. There is an elevator and a bar that does breakfast if one wants. They gave us free drinks which was also very nice 😊

The only thing missing from the room was a mop for the bathroom, so the floor remained wet for hours after we showered.

Some of the reviews had me worried, but I had a terrific stay. My double room was on the third floor and very quiet. The furnishings weren't fancy, but they met my needs. Great water pressure and plentiful hot water. The staff were extremely welcoming and friendly. I was sad to leave.

I missed having a coffee maker in the room.
