Original Sokos Hotel Wiklund

Great location in the middle of the city centre. Very convenient that there is a shopping centre in the same building. Lively atmosphere in the lobby coffeehouse. Roof top bar is amazing and well worth a visit! Reception staff were exceptional friendly and helpful. Rooms were simple but clean and had everything essential.

The Wi-Fi at the hotel was a bit poor.

Central location. Modern, stylish, very clean and sufficiently large rooms. Good equipment, air conditioning. Nice breakfast. Friendly service. Rooftop bar has excellent views over the city!

Upon arrival the arraignment to pay for parking is first a bit puzzling (using an app or paying at the reception) but was explained at the reception. In some hotels the elegant lighting switches present something like an IQ puzzle to the guests, including this one, but we sorted it out

The room was amazing, nice, fresh design. small room but well organized with great amanaties . The breakfast was nice, with a nice selection even thou they can add some salad gravy or some lemon juice and oil, so you don't eat the vegetables raw It's a great place and being on top of a supermarket is very handy!

I only stayed 3 nights, but I asked that my room will be cleaned - but nobody came to clean it my whole stay

Location (in a mall)was quite nice. Lots of facilities nearby. Clean room and good breakfast.

Right next to the hotel and the cetre of the square is a huge construction site ! Right under your room window. I also did not like the fact that they did not let us in any of their restaurants or bars due to the fact that we had an international vaccination card. This was never an issue anywhere else in Finland, so they seem to allow only EU citizens in their restaurant and bar. Very strange !!!

Really comfortable and well equipped rooms. Slept really well and it was quiet. Great selection at breakfast and next door to its sister department store with food hall. Very well situated, 15 mins bus from port and 15 mins walk from train station. Close to the old town and lovely riverside cafés and restaurants.

Nothing. It exceeded our expectations.

The hotel is ideally located for visiting most of the sights in Turku on foot and there are many restaurants nearby.

Currently there is big contruction work in progress around the hotel (central parking under market place). So it's difficult to get to the lobby. That's a bit inconvenient, but is not the hotel's fault. The room prices, especially on weekends are quite steep, if one doesn't have a sokos discount card.

The breakfast buffet was excellent. The hotel is attached to a shopping center for easy shopping and is within walking distance of restaurants and the city center.

Nice view from higher room. Spacious. Clean modern. Good shower. Next to bus station and center of town (but still quiet on high floor) Good view from rooftop bar.

Room is pretty basic. Cant open windows.

Best service ever. Nice to come to a hotel where you are greeted with a smile. Reception was very helpful in every aspect. I'll gladly visit you again. Thank you :);

Food location, grocery store downstairs. The lighting design on the food was also thoughtful.

Can’t get directly back to the hotel from the grocery store. No salmon in the breakfast.
