Ruissalo Spa Hotel

Beautifully situated on the seashore, only a 12 minute drive from Turku. The room was fine with enough space for luggage and nice armchairs to sit in. Our room had seaview and everything was clean and tidy. The spa was very fine, as was the restaurant. Lots of parkingspace outside and a busstop right in front of the entrance.Very friendly and helpfull staff. When we said we would be leaving too early to enjoy breakfast because of the ferry we had to catch, they immediately suggested to make breakfast available for us in the fridge behind the counter when checking out. So we enjoyed a fine breakfast in the car at the ferryterminal in Turku.

Perhaps one suggestion: sunshades for the windows of the rooms, because with the sun shining in, the room gets quit warm.

Amazing staff, lovely location, vegan friendly, outside seating area by the water & facilities are good. Hydrobics videos to follow in the pool.

The air conditioning was a bit old & humming at times. The curtains that were about 70% blackout/dark enough. The room was hot in the summer months. These 3 are all average for the area & standard for most hotels in honesty but prevent me putting 100% rating. The spa was on the smaller side compared to many in Finland, but was fine for us.

Location is great, bus right outside hotel into town and in a lovely sea location. Rooms are good size. Facilities are good at hotel. Buffet breakfast is decent. Live music both nights we stayed.

Staff were not that friendly, they seemed to do what they need and nothing over and beyond. The pool was too cold and the jacuzzi too warm for taking a 10 month old baby. But nice if we didn't have child. Seemed that the main pools were too cold for most, as many people stayed in jacuzzi. Restaurant decent but over priced. Make sure you book table, as one night it was full.

Room: 1st night, wasn't airconditioned and gladly we were able to get an airconditioned one the following night, and no additional charge. Well, good that we were staying for 2 nights if not then it was soooo hot the one night for us, headache when we woke up, the summer was really hot, though there were electric fans, it didn't help to cool down the room. The airconditioned room was great. Breakfast: we reserved for a time as suggested/required in the reception, but it seems that its not being check anyway during the breakfast hours, people just come and go. Not a problem for us though but just wondering what's the reservation is for. Spa: thumbs up, not crowded that time. Restaurant: we had dinner, it was great we loved the food and the service. Nice terrace too, spacious and clean

Ruissalo on kaunis - This is a nice place at the seaside close city of Turku. The spa was excellent with many activities . Outside is a nice naturepark in autum coulours

We were so sorry to forget to ask for us the breakfast early at 6 to our room because we need to be in the harbour at 7 to Stockholm. Te we lost the breakfast which paid. My France husband will be happy if you will pay to him back the small amount of breakfast for two-person. It will be a kind ( ele) from you to him. He likes otherwise so much about the Hotell and the island.

Almost everything perfect, beautiful location, great food, good service, great view, they gave me a room with bathtub as I asked them, perfect bed!! and you can use the pools and sauna after your check out, that was great!!

Maybe the only detail is that there wasn't conditioner or shampoo, that kind of facilites in the bathroom, just that

The area is just wonderful - such a beautiful location surrounded by woodlands and right by the sea! Easy to arrive by a car - even though the hotel was full, there were still plenty of parking places. Great chance to use the spa-area and go swimming from a private beach, for no extra cost. Good breakfast with plenty of options. And the staff - so positive and welcoming! <3 Slept extra good - I don't know if it was the extra comfy bed, the sea air or just the warm, summer feel! Great value for your money!

I think the hotel is in need of an upgrade and some extra love - it feels like some of the facilities (and surroundings) have seen their best days. Our room was not that enjoyable (and I understand that this might not be a place to just stay in your room, but still I like to enjoy the room as well).

Food was ok, buffet for the dinner was a bit overpriced. It would have been nice to have a coffee machine in the room

Spacious place on archipalgo, on ocean, lake, with trees, beauty, peace, tranquility, great restuarant + breakfast. We had a smallish room, but the ocean view was marvelous.

Not applicable as we liked everything
