Super cozy, comfortable, and beautifully furnished room in a superb location: 10-15 min to the cathedral, so pretty much on your doorstep. Olivier and Phillipe gave us a warm welcome, and we felt truly at home in beautiful Maison Longuevie, which inspired very fond memories of B&Bs. Would definitely return if our travels lead us back to Amiens one day!

As far as city-rooms go, Maison Longuevie is far enough from the city center to be reasonably un-loud. It still is a city room, though, so the never-ceasing city noise is there. Earplugs recommended for those sensitive to noise, including traffic and parties.

Our accommodation in Amiens was a perfect place. It looked unobscured from outside, we almost missed it, just a very tall old beautiful brick house with giant green doors. Inside it was grand, luxurious and absolutely massive. Entering there was a huge hallway, where large rooms led off in all directions. There was a sweeping curved staircase with exquisite period features and opulent doorways. Our room was situated on the2nd floor, it was huge and spacious with two sets of floor to ceiling double doors, that led out to a generous balcony, where you could sit or lie in the loungers surrounded by pretty scented pots of plants. Below you could see the beautiful large courtyard filled with flowers and borders of roses. The bathroom again was stunning. The whole place is a perfect home where you can tell the host Olivier. has decorated it with pristine care and attention and care in every detail. Olivier is the perfect host, very welcoming, he is really charming with perfect English, although he modestly claimed it was poor. We had not booked a Resteraunt, so he booked Le Quai for us, alongside the river. This was an absolute perfect choice. We were given a lovely table next to the river and complimentary aperitifs, as Olivier had booked for us. Breakfast was truly delightful, lovely fresh bread, croissants, ham, cheese, yogurts fruit. Nothing was too much trouble. This is a hidden gem in Amiens, would definitely stay again.

All excellent

This is a beautiful house in a quiet setting and very well located to stroll into Amiens. We stayed in the Jules Verne room which is large and spacious and has a nice sunny terrace overlooking the lovely pristine garden. The owners were away so we were greeted by their friend, who was very friendly and welcoming and who also made us a wonderful breakfast the following morning. Street parking right opposite the house in July and August is free and plentiful. The owners' recommended restaurant - le Quai - was excellent and the free Kir as guests of Maison Longuevie very welcome!

We were a bit disappointed not to meet the hosts as it meant that the house was very quiet. A fan in the room would have been good. Be aware that the stairs up to the rooms are quite steep and narrow, so carrying all our luggage (at the end of a 2 week stay in France) was a bit of a challenge.

We loved everything about our stay here. It was homely, relaxing, elegant, stylish, comfortable. Our room was beautiful, we had a large private balcony, and the bed was one of the best I’ve ever slept in. The owners, Olivier and Philippe were so warm and welcoming. The building is in a quiet area, but only a short walk into the centre of Amiens, which is lovely, with some good quality restaurants and bars round the cathedral and along the river. A superb place to stay.

We couldn’t find fault with a single thing.

Very friendly and helpful people ,lovely breakfast and great place for walking into the town .Would stay there again. Nothing was too much trouble. Lovely to have a balcony to sit out on in the evening. 9 out of 10 .Lost one point because of the toilet.

Shame the toilet was a across the landing and not in the ensuite bathroom . Also was quite difficult to find .Our sat nav just couldn't work out how to navigate the one way system .

This is a grand old Amiens house which has been sympathetically maintained and very nicely furnished by the owners. Our room was large and comfortable, with access to a huge sunny terrasse with views over the local district. Breakfast was very generous and our host was extremely personable, allowing us to park our car in his private (and beautiful) garden overnight. He also readily agreeing our request for a late check-out, which we needed because there is so much to see in Amiens!

Neither of these things bothered us, but other guests might need to note that our room was up on the second floor, so be prepared for two long flights of stairs, and do take care on the broad but fairly dim landing if accessing the (separate) toilet, especially after dark!

What a beautiful house. The property is stunning and wonderfully decorated. The room is very large with a private bathroom and a balcony outside. The room and property are spotlessly clean too. It is located a short walk to the main tourist area and we had private parking. The continental breakfast was fresh, plentiful and delicious. Olivier & Philippe we’re perfect hosts.

The toilet is across the hall. I think this is shared with another room but for our visit, it was just for us.

Breakfast was more than ample, typically French & delightfully presented by friendly, “tourist helpful” hosts. The location was easily walkable to major attractions & overnight parking was easy & just opposite.

Our stay here was so much more than we expected, so nothing could be improved. Even the weather was glorious!
