The most friendly and welcoming staff we have experienced in a long time. The hotel is beautiful and very chic. The interior decor is so well designed and there is a lovely continuity of colours throughout. It is very relaxing with plenty of beautiful and comfortable seating throughout. A very special view of La Cite from our balcony and the patio. Our room was quite large, extremely comfy large bed with quality bed linen. Huge bathroom with a great shower. Only a short walk th La Cite. Nice pool, if a little small.

Having to pay ti use the sauna. No door from the bathroom to the room.

what a fabulous experience.Thank you Delphine,Alexandre,Thomas also thankyou to the front of house (concierge's) for the wonderful welcome .This is a superb hotel run by the friendliest staff in the most fabulous location .The pool was fantastic as was the spa....the breakfast with champagne fantastic ,..evening meals(we ate everything on the menu) fabulous......I would say there were faults here and there however nothing that would stop me recommending this hotel .

we would have liked the beakfast to be a bit warmer but really a minor point because there was so much choice

The staff were very helpful with recommendations for restaurants and activities. Our room was perfect for our family - plenty of space, separate tvs, nice bathroom and an amazing view of the old city from our balcony. It was helpful to have the parking option just a short walk from the hotel (whilst still having a drop off/pick up area at the hotel when needed). The kids enjoyed the pool (and it was great that pool access was included in the room price).

The only small inconvenience was an alarm/sensor in our room went off one night and woke us up, but the Staff member was very helpful and quick to reset it. And the corner edges of the tiles in the pool are quite sharp, so you just have to be a little careful.

Really well located near the citadel and in walking distance of the main shopping town centre. All the staff were very helpful during our stay - in particular Kevin on Reception who had excellent English to make up for our poor French and helped with all our enquiries. Even our entry level room was a really good size and layout - enormous bed and huge double bath. Spa team also very helpful and squeezed us in despite being full. Complimentary water and juice in the mini fridge was a nice touch.

Bar closed at 10pm which was a little early after returning from dinner. Didn’t eat at the hotel so can’t comment on food.

Location with a balcony view of the Medievil city and the river. Free bike hire for one hour. Reception people were fantastic, easy to deal with and very helpful. The room includes a fridge with free water and juice which was a bonus as we stored our travelling food in it also.

Parking out the front of the hotel to unload suitcases was limited ,but understandable and had to drive to find a carpark, An undergound carpark nearby is 5 mins walk. 8 euro for the overnight stay was ok. We didn't eat breakfast as it was too expensive, had coffee in the room with a snack, way cheaper.

accommodation rooms were stunning

communal areas were a bit quiet and a bit soulless. restaurant serving staff quite inexperienced though very pleasant and looked a bit under staffed. the outside dining/ lounging area was a bit odd. loungers would be better to be all screened to give u privacy if you wanted to lie out. we chose not to though would have loved too to chill out - just didn’t seem right with people potentially dining as restaurant was quite formal looking. we are at restaurant a few times and food was delicious

Super friendly accommodating staff that get out of their way to help you. Location and the view could not be beaten. Loved the decor. Free water and coffees to keep you hydrated in the heat. Large bathtub and rain shower. Large terrace

The pool has too much chlorine, hence was unable to use. No room service (which is somewhat expected from a 5* hotel even if with snacks only). A/C does not have a timer. Slightly disappointed with the wine selection at the bar but all this minor. Great stay

The room was nice, especially the open space bath and the see through glass shower cubicle. Would be awkward if sharing room with friends....lol lol Location was great, between the castle and old town Staff was friendly, gave advice where to eat well. Nice back garden to admire the castle from a distance

Pool was relatively small for the size of the hotel. 4 people in, don't think the 5th would jump in. lol lol We didn't book breakfast, the reception said we could decide in the morning. At around 9.15am next morning, we took a look, no, it did look already tired. So we ate outside, no real issues here. Not a typical 5 star hotel. The reception was not always manned. A few times we went to the reception and no one was there., a nice guy from the bar came and said "I am working in the bar, I am not sure if I could help but I can try "...

The room was amazing as I had a view of the river and the ancient walled city of medieval Carcasson. This was really a "Room with a View". The staff was gracious and very friendly. The room design was funky chic and well done. The price...very reasonable. I liked it so much that I extended my stay.

I can't really say anything bad. Oh...there was a fire alarm/drill that had us out of bed for a couple hours. But they couldn't help it. I slept in my car for an hour. They were very apologetic. It wasn't their fault. These kind of things happen. But they gave everyone a free breakfast to make up for it.

Lovely pool, good service although they gave us a room without a terrace and we had paid extra for this They acknowledged their error and said we would be contacted in 3 days The decor in the bedroom and bathroom was very tasteful and of a high standard

We did not get the room we booked and paid extra for The room had no terrace It was a nice room and as we moved in in the evening we did not trouble reception at night We did inform them the following morning and they acknowledged their mistake and advised compensation would be advised to us within 3 days
