The Originals Boutique, Hôtel Le Londres, Saumur (Qualys-Hotel)

This is a wonderful hotel, in a fabulous area. It is suberbly managed. The Staff are wonderful and so helpful, a great team, they are so happy and willing to help where they can. The rooms are themed, we had the John Steed and Emma Peel room on the ground floor, which also had its own terrace. This hotel offers parking, but there are limited spaces, so our advice is to book yours early!! The breakfasts are very good, taken in a beautifully decorated atrium effect dining room. A short walk from the front door leads you into the heart of Saumur and also the river Loire. We would definitely use this hotel again if we are back in the area at some point. Thank you to everyone that made our 2 nights perfect!!

Lovely Boutique style hotel, great service and a very good breakfast offered. Would definitely recommend adding the parking in. We had our dog with us and the hotel were very good with this, they recommended a lovely restaurant which is well worth visiting.

Nothing about the property itself. I wouldn’t recommend eating in the main square, overpriced and not great although there is a fabulous craft beer pub, offering a massive range of craft beers with great friendly service.

Wonderful designed room, spacious with a nice terrace. Perfect for a stop over at the beautiful Saumur. Excellent choice. Parking might be possible on the small premises /back yard -however do not bet on it. We found a parking in front of the hotel and there is another big parking place close by. City center, chateau, great restaurant Boeuf Noisette is perfectly accessible by foot. Calm environment, not loud, great room, good beds plus a friendly welcome : an excellent choice for Saumur.

Lovely character property right in the middle of town . Ideally placed. The owner and the staff were charming and really helpful . The breakfast was reasonably priced and plentiful with fresh bread / croissants etc . Private gated parking area behind the hotel which was secure for the motorbikes.

The lift was out of order due to a maintenance issue which the owner was apologetic for and clearly annoyed at the engineers not being able to fix it quickly

On arrival we were met by the very beautiful Marie, she made us very welcome as did all the staff, speaking only a little French they all helped us totally enjoy are short stop over in the very beautiful city Saumur , the family room has vast amounts of space to keep everyone comfortable, highly recommend please book a car space as city centre is always busy

The highest compliment you can give a hotel is that it feels like a home away from home and this beauty of, spotless, warm and friendly hotel was utterly perfect! We stayed in the family apartment which was sublime. Spacious, amazing quiet air con, beautiful views and a huge comfy bed! What made this hotel was the staff, in just two nights we felt so at home, so welcome and so looked after- they really were spectacular! Breakfast was amazing, perfect location and do book the parking if you have a car! 10/10

Location was great and the car park was a bonus in a busy city. We mixed it up and had breakfasts some days but not all, the choice was limited but more than sufficient. The beds were very comfortable. the mini fridge was useful and the aircon was a blessing. Staff were fab and helped us with whatever we needed. Would happily return.

great location and good looking renovated hotel close to town . on main road , parking is a squeeze at the rear of hotel , this would be an issue @ busy times . (10e) per night . warm welcome , very friendly staff . room was clean and very comfortable. great breakfast , lots of choice . our second stay @ the hotel. definitely stay again as it ticks all the boxes . Samur is a beautiful city to visit .

The staff was very helpful and friendly. We did not have breakfast. Our room was on the lst floor, very quiet, and the little porch area was delightful. We paid for parking which was OK; the parking lot area behind the hotel is very small and one has to back into one's assigned spot. It is located a door away from the hotel entrance and this street is a one-way type so it was easy to get into. We stayed 2 nights and the 2nd night, we had an easier assigned spot in which to park, so the staff was accommodating at all times. If you have a car, the nearby castles (Saumur Chateau and Chateau de Montreuil-Bellay) are not too far at all.

An absolutely delightful welcome at reception from monsieur who was exceptionally helpful in advising us about places to eat. The locked car park for 10€ is a real asset. Do reserve in advance. The room was small but clean and had what was required.

The bathroom I was quite cramped but clean and served its purpose. Wouldn’t like to stay two nights because of the size.
