Courtyard by Marriott Hamburg Airport

Very nice restaurant, great breakfast, superbly clean, fantastic sound isolation given its proximity to Hamburg airport (planes literally fly over minute before touching the runway). Rooms very spotless and even tough one was too cold, we were given another one shortly. Restaurant staff was very pleasant and welcoming, both for dinner and breakfast.

The only unexpected moment was when we were asked to pay 16 euros for hotel garage parking (we stayed one night). I would have not challenged this had we been told clearly upon check-in. I asked for parking charge specifically and was told it would be free. Reception agent accepted our claim at the end, however her attitude was not nice and accommodating. I would never blame customer for the created misunderstanding. The clear sign for "16 eur per day" we were referred to is not clearly posted when you enter, I checked this again and could not see it when leaving the hotel.

We had a one night stay over between leaving a cruise ship and flying back to uk. Staff were friendly and accommodating. We arrived far too early for check in as we had to disembark our ship earlier than we thought along with other passengers from the same ship. They allowed us to wait in reception and allowed us to occupy our rooms as soon as they had been cleaned. Rooms are tastefully decorated and well equipped. The courtesy airport transfer was very welcome even though it's only a 10min walk to the terminal.

We had our evening meal in the restaurant. Again staff were very pleasant and helpful. The food was tasty and well presented however we paid nearly €100 for a Cesar salad, a burger and chips and 3 chicken fillet size pieces of meat with chips with a small salad and 2 drinks. Again nice food but not worth the price.

We stayed here because it is close to the airport and has a free airport shuttle. Clean, comfortable, and convenient.

A surprisingly well-appointed Courtyard that has everything I needed as a business traveler moving through Hamburg airport. Even though it is very close to airport and its traffic, the interior is quiet. The bar/breakfast space is very nice and well run. The room was of a high modern standard. There is a parking garage for those arriving by car, and a free shuttle to/from the airport, which takes only 5 minutes. If one has light baggage, walking from the airport is entirely possible -- I saw several regulars doing this.

The late night shuttle driver was abrupt when first encountered and left us standing in the rain while he took a load of late-arriving air crew first.

We appreciated the no fee shuttle from and to airport. The rooms are nice, clean, functional and had a complimentary bottle of mineral water. The shower room was elegant and had a great, strong shower. We didn’t have the breakfast, it seemed very expensive but dinner In the evening was satisfactory. We expected and know from experience that any prices for any meals at airport hotels are always inflated.

We were satisfied with everything.

This is more like a regular fancy hotel. The room was clean. The bathroom is modern. The room was spacious. The bed was comfortable. There were three pillows, but four would have been better. The restaurant and bar were unexpectedly upscale. I enjoyed it very much. The free airport shuttle was very good. It took only 2 min to reach terminal 1.

Noithing

small, easy to get around inside, close to airport and U-Bahn, free shuttle service to the airport, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean and modern,

shower floor slippery and nothing to hold on to, no drawers for clothing etc. for a longer stay, no lunch service in the restaurant or a place to buy anything other than snacks,

Fantastic location, close to the airport but also on a bus route. Excellent bar and restaurant, with some superb food to try out. The bedroom was amazing too, with an incredible shower and unbelievable soundproofing - as I did not hear a single plane during my stay!

I was a little disappointed that the massage facilities were unavailable but that would have simply moved the overall experience from a 9 to a 10!

Perfect stop when you have to catch a plane in the morning. The very best thing is their airport shuttle every half hour and that they pick you up on request. So you sleep not too close to the runway and ugly airport, but look onto trees and can open the window to let summerair in. The location is perfect.

Rooms are identical.

The bar area and that the staff could speak many languages. The breakfast was also good.

The restaurant is expensive for the quality of the dishes. When a restaurant charges high prices then unfortunately as a guest you expect good quality of the dishes. However, the breakfast was good.
