Anemoni Piraeus Hotel

The hotel is cozy and conveniently located. The metro station is very close, and you can reach the main central Athens attractions directly. It's also very close to the port, within walking distance. There are plenty of cafes/restaurants nearby for a great dinner. Towels are changed every day, and they also provide water. Within a 3-minute walk, there's a large supermarket where you can find everything you need.

There was a constant smell of cigarettes near the room. The breakfasts were monotonous, which corresponds to the cost of accommodation.

The stuff was super polite and helpful. I stayed in the hotel for 10days.I asked the receptionist for the nearest pharmacy and directions and they even gave me a map. On the last day they kept my luggage after I checked out, free of charge, because I couldn't take them with me on the check out. They even gifted me a small bottle of wine during my stay, so kind of them. Also, the hotel room was extremely clean, everyday I would find new towels, new bedsheets and everything cleaned up including the bathroom. Despite the city noise outside the hotel, once you close your balcony door, you have peace and quiet to sleep or relax. I definitely recommend this hotel for anyone who is looking for a 2star hotel. Small details I would appreciate is: for my bathroom to have a case for my toothbrush and toothpaste, an ashtray outside, in the balcony (if that's applicable by the rules) and a small table in the balcony. But the last two I mentioned, are more like "suggestions" for improving what the hotel could provide to its customers.

This hotel is a stone throw away from the Metro that takes 12 minutes to get into Athens City Centre. It is also on the metro line that takes you to the Airport and a short walk to the ferry terminal and the marina. The staff went out of their way to be helpful and give us great recommendations and took time to give us directions to good shops and restaurants.

The bathroom was a bit small but to be expected from a 2 star hotel. I’m not a big fan of a curtain in the shower - but again, for what we paid, you can’t expect much more.

We stayed for one night and I must say that the staff was super friendly. They offered us super-safe parking in the garage. The hotel itself is in a great location very close to everything you need. The room was clean and felt safe. There is an elevator, and it has great accommodation. It's located in a non-frequent street so you won't be able to listen to any traffic.

The rooms are good but the doors are a bit outdated which leads to listening to everyone who closes or opens the door not just on your floor but the whole hotel. The walls are very thin so you will listen to everyone speaking below, above, and next to you and in the hallways as well. It's not up to the hotel but people staying there have no manners, so if you are a light sleeper just forget about getting any sleep in the night.

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was 7 euros and had a decent selection of food. Location is very close to restaurants and a metro station.

The front desk staff makes you give them your key before you leave for the day, and ask for it back when you return. This was a bit odd, and not something I've ever experienced with a hotel before.

We needed a one night stay close to the pier for our cruise. We didn't have to be at the pier until after check out time, and they were gracious to extend our check out time. Although they didn't have a shuttle, they called a taxi for us and helped us with our luggage. It is located in an older part of the city and there weren't many restaurant options close by for dinner, but a nice breakfast was included. We would definitely consider staying there again.

The staff were fantastic, very friendly. Room was very clean and water was left for us which was great for 2 guys from Manchester in Athens for the football, Manchester City FC. The air conditioning was also left on for us when we were out so very welcome as well. Metro D Theatro is a 10 minutes walk away.

The 2 stars does not do justice to this hotel. People are very helpful, professional and nice. The only downsize are the bathrooms that are rather small but very functional and clean. For the price we paid it was a great surprise. Thank you!!!

Location was great, close to the port and to the metro. 24/7 reception was very useful. The room was great with a good sized balcony.

The bathroom had no shower curtain. We also had to leave our keys at reception each time we left, and say our room number when returning - which does not seem like the most secure system (as we could have said any number without being checked)

Cost and convenience, the port was only 20 minutes walk away.

Each day cleaners opened the balcony door and security shutter - I could have said something to front desk but didn’t and just closed them when I came back to my room. I was in the third floor so less worried about someone getting access to my room.
