The location is close to the port. If yo are cruising, this is the perfect place. The staff is excellent and helpful. They recommended a great restaurant about 20 minutes away and a called taxis for us. Our party consisted of 4 couples. We ate breakfast there every morning, and the prices are low. They have outside tables, and that's where we ended the day. They have a full bar that includes popular brands of alcohol, local wines, and beer. Of course, Ouzo and raki are available. There is shopping nearby as well as small restaurants. Hop on Hop off bus stop is nearby. You'll need to use this if you want to get to the Acropolis and other ruins. These are about 40 minutes away. The buses run about very 20 minutes and are much cheaper than a taxi.

Beds are hard. Everyone agreed that.

The staff was awesome! The taxi driver tried to charge me over double what the fare should have been from the airport and was extremely aggressive and the staff assisted me and defended me. The staff was friendly, accommodating and professional. The food and cocktails were very good.

It would have been nice to have complimentary breakfast included with the price of the room or at least complimentary coffee/tea and muffins/pastries in the morning, but other than that I liked everything about this hotel. Quaint, walking distance from shopping, a short taxi ride to the port and again the staff was so friendly and accommodating.

Everything! The staff was super friendly, and helpful. Our luggage was lost, and they provided adapter cords for us to borrow and directed to a local affordable place to shop for replacement clothes. We needed a cab, they had one for us within just a few moments. We dined in the restaurant attached to the hotel, and had the most delicious meal. They called the dish “bar finger food”, and although that’s not what we’d call it lol it was a delicious sausage and pepper dish! They served us a complimentary shot and dessert afterward! Everything was great! The beds were comfy, the shower ( a little small) was hot, the room was clean, and the location was within walking distance to almost anything you’d need!

There was nothing we didn’t like!

Faros is a very affordable and comfy hotel in Piraeus, with good AC and WiFi, walking distance to the cruise ship terminal that serves the Athens area. Such a great location for cruise passengers and staff! Before check-in and after check-out, the friendly reception people kept my big luggage for me at lobby level.

Not a criticism of the hotel, but if you are rolling wheeled luggage, beware of the bumpy, wheel-damaging cobbles around Piraeus and leading up to the hotel.

About 10 minutes from metro, close to the port, shopping, lots of places to eat. Something to be aware of is that there are several nightclubs nearby, although on the Wednesday we stayed was not an issue. The staff were amazing 👏 Complimentary water when we checked in, air con in room with a balcony. Very clean and comfortable. The food in the restaurant was fantastic. Just be careful what you order, as the portions were huge. Great prices, ordered us a taxi and called us to make sure we were awake.

Nothing.

The location is perfect, if you do any sea travel from Priaeus. Also it's located closely to the vibrant area center, as well as the old harbour with great restaurants, bars and shopping areas. The hotel is very clean, the rooms are simple, but comfortable and the staff is very friendly and forthcoming.

Our room was on the top floor (8th floor) and thus our water pressure was really bad, but I guess that cannot be helped in older buildings and the plumbing in Greece

Very clean. Extremely kind staff. Very helpful and attentive. Had great conversations with them while we had dinner downstairs. Great location near the port. We stayed one night only, as we only stayed to catch the ferry early the next morning. No complaints at all.

Nothing to do with the property itself, but after we got off the bus (NAT bus stop), there were no taxis available (we called multiple times), so be prepared to walk a little bit if you can’t catch one.

Very friendly and helpfull staff, room was clean with airco, window/door shutter that you could close or open and curtains that made the room dark. Extra covers and pillows for the bed. There was a small fridge no safe depositiebox. We only stayed for 1 night before going on a cruise. We had diner which was very good en not expensief and a good breakfast with a wide choice for only €7. Highly recommended for a short stay.

The pillows where too plump which I don,t like.

The location of the hotel between both the main ferry port and the nice yachting harbour of Piraeus is excellent - both easy walking. The nearby underground also takes you to Athens city and the airport. The hotel staff were so friendly and helpful, especially when we had to stay an extra night as flights cancelled. Very clean hotel and food (dinner and breakfast) was great too. We also had a balcony.

Nothing.

Super clean hotel with a cafe/bar - perfect for a night after our island tour before heading to the airport. We were lucky and our ferry came into E10, which was literally a 5 minute walk to the port. Great AC & mini fridge, much needed during the heat wave!

The bars around had lady escort situations going on during the late night. Had to walk a bit further to avoid this type of establishment for a late night cocktail.
