Mitsis Petit Palais Beach Hotel

The hotel was very good. The reception and restaurant staff were excellent. Very friendly and helpful. Always very accommodating. Very good selection of meals in the restaurant buffet. Excellent WiFi coverage throughout the hotel. Excellent location in Rhodes town. In a short walking distance to the beach, restaurants/bars Old Town and harbour for boat tours.

The food could have been hotter in the restaurant buffet. It was at times quite cool. I do appreciate that this is sometimes the nature of a buffet, but even still, it could have been better. The daily cleaning of the rooms needs improvement. I do not believe that our rooms floor was swept on any of the seven days of our stay. Our mini bar fridge was only restocked once with water and soft drinks during our 7 day stay. It was my understanding that it would be restocked every 2 days as part of our "All Inclusive" booking. I may have misunderstood. The bar could be bigger as it was quite small for the number of guests in the hotel.

Breakfast buffet had lots of options; pool area was lovely and all the staff were so friendly. You can leave your luggage after checkout if you’re flying later in the day. Toiletry products are great quality and there’s a free gift on check out which is a nice touch. City tax per night was I think €3 for the room not per person. Good entertainment every night, good location about 15 mins from the old town but lots of nice restaurants and bars very close to hotel.

My mum and I had an amazing time here. Our room was spacious and clean with very comfortable beds. The Wi-Fi is outstanding throughout the entire hotel. The location is great, walking distance to the harbour, old town and beach. Receptionists Amalia and Nikos were attentive, always smiling and willing to help. The delicious pizzas at lunch and dinner were our absolute highlight, hats off to Nektarios for making such addictive pizzas, he is a legend! A special thank you to Dimitris, Damianos, Zara and the brilliant waiters Aldo and Alex. They all made this holiday extra special for us with their warm hospitality. The energy is excellent at this hotel, I would highly recommend it and hope to be back in the near future!

Best possible location in Rhodes town, amazingly friendly staff, clean and freshly renovated facilities, and great buffet breakfast with loads of different options. We had only breakfast included but the staff was so friendly that they wanted to offer us the buffet dinner once for free and it was amazing too! We loved the show cooking and the greek local food they prepared. We arrived late in the evening and the hotel staff had organised us some evening snack to our room as the restaurant wasn’t open anymore. Our flight was also leaving late in the evening on the checkout day, so we got to use one room to shower and freshen up before our flight back home.

Ok, so I have a long history visiting different hotels due to the nature of my work (and really luxurious ones), but it’s hard for me to remember the hotel where the food would be sooooooo good as in this one. Every day different food is served, variety is more than enough and quality is superb. I can’t recall any other place where I was not tempted to explore non hotel dining places. In addition, as many other people already mention pizzas are amazing :) Second- the staff. Everyone from receptionists to room cleaning personel was super helpful and nice. Really nice animations in evenings (for adults)

For this type of hotel there was too small pool area densed really tight with sunbeds (we used beach -7,5e per sunbed 2 minutes away ) No gym, mitsis grand hotel 2 minutes away has one and entry 10eur for day entrance

The staff were exceptional. We weren’t booked into this hotel originally, the hotel we’d booked was awful so we found petit Palais last minute. On arrival we were upgraded to all inclusive free of charge and our room was ready 10 minutes later, the staff were fantastic. The dining room is like a restaurant not a canteen with table service for drinks. The food was different every day and of a very high standard. The rooms are spacious and clean and we had a large balcony with table and chairs and sun loungers. We only used the pool area once because we didn’t have children with us so we decided to use the beach as it’s only a two minute walk away.

The pool are is a bit tired and could do with a makeover but it was perfectly useable.

The hotel is placed 5 minutes walking from the beach. 5-8 minutes walking distance from the new town, and 10-15 minutes from the old town. We had a kid (3 years)with us, and it was perfect hotel to stay at, with a kid. We have been 10 nights, and stuff gave him a new toy if not every night, every other. The food at restaurant was incredible good. (Have been many places, but food in Greece is on another level). 10/10 in my opinion. ✌🏻

The hotel is located very close to the beach. The room is spacious. The breakfast was the same everyday but there were enough options to choose from. Dinner was different every evening which was nice. The staff is helpful. Ac in a room worked fine. There are a lot of small supermarkets, other shops and car rentals near. It’s also a close walk to the old town.

Not enough place to store the clothes. No AC in the lobby. The pool area is really small. The hotel in general feels a bit old, but everything works how it should.

We had a variety of food that was changed every day and it was very tasty. The hotel employees were very helpful and nice. Every time we had a request they immediately solved it. The location of the hotel is excellent, it is only 2 minute walk to the beach. In front and around the hotel there lots of shops and supermarkets, so you can have all you need very quickly. In the hotel, every evening from 9 to 11 they have some kind of program, like karaoke, Greek dances, live band, etc. There is 24/7 open reception so you can always count on that. Also the AC was working perfectly and the room temperature was optimal.

We had the room facing the street and if you leave the balcony door open you can hear the noises on the street, but if you close the door it is a reasonable noise and you can sleep very well. The hotel has very thin walls and you can hear everything and the most disturbing was between 2 and 4 in the afternoon when the cleaning ladies were moving furniture around and they slammed doors, also guests coming and going from their rooms talking loudly, etc.
