The property was beautiful and well situated. The staff were kind and caring.

It’s not that there were issues that we didn’t like about the property. However, there are a couple of factors that could be taken into consideration, if they want to receive western visitors. 1 - Although a small convector heater and blankets are provided, the rooms are very cold. They cannot increase the electricity output as the infrastructure is not able to support an increase. Therefore, an additional or alternative heating source needs to be considered. This is not just the case for this hotel. 2 - The breakfast food was lovely. However, rather than serving everyone everything. It would be better to give visitors options and ask them what they want. I don’t have a big appetite and by asking they would save money on food.

Our recent stay at West Gate Posada By Summit @Darjeeling was nothing short of exceptional. Opting for the Family view with Balcony & JACUZZI room elevated our experience to new heights. The breathtaking view of Kanchenjunga peak from the balcony, coupled with the serene vista of the Darjeeling valley below, made each moment unforgettable. However, what truly set this stay apart was the remarkable customer service provided by the team. Ankit, Bibek, Prajokat, and Khusboo exhibited an unparalleled level of care, patience, and understanding. Their dedication to ensuring our comfort went above and beyond any expectations we had. Whether it was the front desk team handling our inquiries or Khusboo's warm hospitality at the restaurant, their personalized attention made our stay not just comfortable but truly memorable. The hotel's attention to detail, combined with the panoramic views and the outstanding service, makes it an absolute gem in Darjeeling. I cannot recommend West Gate Posada By Summit enough to anyone seeking not just a place to stay, but an experience that resonates long after check-out. This is the perfect choice for those yearning for the beauty of Darjeeling and a touch of heartfelt hospitality. I give 5 Star rating to the team and the hotel!

Location was but away from the town center.

We liked everything about this property..equipped with great amenities and excellent service, location is little away from the mall road. Reaching mall road isn't a problem, but returning back to the hotel wasn't a pleasant experience either.

House Keeping needs improvement. Considering the location, which is little away from the Mall Road, if the hotel have some provision for shuttle service or similar kind of arrangements with reasonable charges, would certainly add to its attraction. Overall experience was very good.

The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting darjeeling, it near to the main shopping hub and nearby to all attractions around as well as the view from our room was mesmerising, the name lives up to it and the view of the summit from the summit is just wonderful.

The beds were too soft than a normal bedding, otherwise all good.

1) View From Room. 2) Had Car Parking Space.

1) The Bathroom Did Not Have Proper Shower Facility At All. Very Very Poor Experience. 2) They Provided A Jacuzzi In The Bathroom With ONLY Very Poor Hand Shower Operational!! 3) The Heating Facility Provided Was Not Enough With Temperature Being As Low As 5-7 Degrees. 4) Food At Property Very Much Average!

Actually everything...!! The rooms, amenities , the 6th floor tea tasting lounge, the view, the service everything was impeccable. But, the reason I would go back again n again is the people who are running this place. They are simply the best you would ever encounter....!! I love them....

I loved everything about the place

Its a superb location with clear view of mountain from your room all the time. Its in a quiet location.

Its little far from mall road. For us it was good but may be for people who are not comfortable walking it will become costly for them as every time taxi will charge 400 bucks.

Bit cold during wintertime in the room, but with a small heater it was okay

The hotel was comfortable,clean and welcoming. The staff were really warm and understanding. Ankit, shrishti and Navin were really helpful. I had a wonderful time

The location was a bit further considering we had elderly people... But otherwise was great.
