Hotel Soleado

We ate at the restaurant in the hotel twice and the food was really good. Most rooms at this hotel have a balcony but ours did not and we’re disappointed with as we were staying 11 days. However we asked for a change and got it on the 3 rd morning. Staff were very helpful. HotelSoleado is just across the road from the beach and is approximately 1.5km from the Old Town of Alghero. There were loungers around the pool but the number was limited and poolside had to be cleared every evening at 7pm as the restaurant was very popular and tables were set up all round the swimming pool. Rooms were cleaned every day.

I think the balcony area on the 4th floor could be improved upon. Sun loungers and umbrellas could be placed up there as room near the pool was limited. Fridge in the room didn’t really keep things cold. Also Wi-Fi in the rooms was very poor or not working at all.

the location is great, right next to the beach and within a 20 minutes walk to the city center the price for a double room is great for Alghero

the parking lot was full at the time we arrived but we were lucky and found a spot just in front of the hotel on the street. Parking is free there. the breakfast was in our opinion quite (15€ per person) expensive for the food you are getting

Lovely friendly staff who were exceptionally helpful. The place was spotless and covid measures were reinforced politely to customers who occasionally forgot them. Loved the proximity to beach. Nice promanade walk into old town. Good size room with fridge and balcony. Also WiFi. In house restaurant and pizzeria. Supermarkets close by for forgotten essentials

Impossible to find something not to like🙂

The hotel is located very closed to the beach and path way which leads directly to the old town. We stayed at the room with spacious terase with a beautiful sea view. Room was clean and equiped with a fridge, safe, TV. Also the towels and shower shampoo, gel and soap was provided. Hotel staff was very friendly and profesional. I requested some extra things and it was no problem for them to arrange. The hotel has also restaurant and pool and there is a possibility to get beach towels for a small charge. I would really recommend this hotel.

The only thing which could be better is a wifi signal but when you are on Holiday you don't need it much 😁.

Hotel Soleda is excellently located exceptionally well maintained on all fronts. Staff in every dept could not have been more corteous. Breakfast was one area we thought could be improoved upon. We had breakfast each morning of our stay and the offerings were virtually the same every day. Suprising there was no fish on offer on any morning,

The location of the hotel was excellent. The place is clean and pleasant. Breakfast was ok, but more choice and variety would be great.

The hotel was excellent for the money. You one minute walk from the beach or you can you use the pool why looking over the beach. The hotel provides beach umbrella chairs and beach games for the kids free of charge. We had breakfast included and if you have two teenage boys they it’s worth it as they charge €15 per person which is not worth it. As there are better value on the strip. You can have dinner or lunch there which I would recommend as it’s good value and very tasty and watching the sun set is amazing. Staff could not be more help and friendly, they did forget to put our name down for dinner but that was no problem and we got a lovely seat by the pool. Like most things couple of down sites. Some of the hotel needs a little TLC as I little old looking. We needed a shower just before we got our flight home and the only shower and the only one they could provide was the one by the pool. Not sure if people would like me stripping off why they are sunning themselves.

Arrived with the bus from Sassari and hotel was nearby the stop! Great location for walks next to the beach or to the city centre! As the hotel is front line to the see you can enjoy the amazing sunsets!

As I went in the winter period and Alghero is a summer destination. Hotels around where doing some construction and the pool for example was not accessible. Not a problem for me but please check before with the hotel if it is of importance to you.

It was a good stay: -very good location, at the seaside. Our room had a sea view. I think all the rooms have actually a sea view. That was a plus for us; -the price paid was very good. -the room was large and had plenty of facilities: A/C, Fridge, Toiletries, Hair dryer. We loved the dimension of the room. It was very large and also the bathroom; -The balcony was large; -The check in was pretty fast; -The Wi-fi was EXCELLENT. And we came from Romania, where the internet is one of the fastest in the world. So we have high expectations regarding Wifi connection. This hotel didn't disappoint us. -The temperature in the room was very good, even at the beginning of November. -The bed was comfortable

I couldn't say that I didn't like a certain thing. I would book this hotel again, if I ever visit Alghero in the future. But for a fussy traveler, the hotel has some old furniture and aspect. It was clean, but old. Also the table in the balcony needed some additional cleaning. It was cleaned, but it was sticky in some of the places

The hotel is beachfront to a beautiful sandy beach. It's a short walk to the historic Old Town. The staff at the hotel are the friendliest people, they're like a family and make you feel so welcome. The food in the hotel restaurant is beautiful. The rooms are a nice size with aircon, and they are spotlessly clean with fresh towels every day. You can also hire a beach towel at reception for €2.50.
