Lo Spicchio b&b0

The apartment and the host was as given in the descriptions beforehand. We were living in a separate room, there was one more room for another quests and also  the family of the host is living in the house. However it was not disturbing at all, we rarely meet each other. The room was not too big, but we had enough place for our clothes and things. The own fridge and the own balcony for eating or drying our towels was very good, just like the well-working air conditioner. Wifi was also stable. The beds were comfortable. The bathroom was clean. The host provided us  freely beach towels, parasols. There was also a standard variety of breakfast with coffee, bred, ham, cheese, nutella, jams, juices, biscuits, muesli, yoghurts. The room was cleaned daily, the host communicated with us through sms, she was very kind. The really nice Maria Pia beach is within walking distance, about 10 min., on the way you find Pergola, a great restaurant and just there a bus station to the centre. There is a shop next them where you can buy bus tickets or any beach equipments. In the other direction from the apartment, within 3-5  minutes walk in front of the Hospital you find bus station to Alghero Airport (ticket is 1 Eur only, Linea Alfa). You can find two supermarket within 10 minutes walk from the flat.

The environment of the apartnent towards the beach was a bit abandoned, not providing the greatest view in the first part of walking.

Lovely spacious room and en suite, totally spotless with everything I needed (even shower products and a beach towel). Great breakfast included with lots of choice, close to the beach and a lovely garden. Super responsive and generous host. Easy bus links to the airport and into the centre of Alghero.

A little bit too far to walk into the town every day - but the bus is easy and it's close to the beach. Not that many shops or cafes nearby.

The stay was over my expectations. It is very clean and close to beaches and restaurants. Grocery store just 16 min walk. I really recommend staying here. The host was easy to contact and very kind and helpful. The room is also cleaned on daily basis.

It's not soundproof, if other guests has children that screams you will hear this as well but it was not a major issue in comparision to everything that was great.

Loved everything. The bedroom has everything you can need, a comfortable bed, a fridge with cool water ready when you arrive, an en-suite bathroom with all the essential and umbrella and towels for the beach, the tv and the air conditioning, etc. The breakfast the following morning was excellent. Very accommodating for the check in and the check out. I would totally recommend the property.

super cosy, nice and comfy room, all fresh and clean, great breakfast, all prepared with care and thought, the owner is friendly and very helpful. the room is equipped with everything you might need and even more (everything for the beach, like really everything, even few different bags, not to mention the umbrellas, towels, beach games and kids toys). its important to mention that besides the cute balcony there is also a nice garden with hammocks under the trees and again the kids toys in case you need them. definitely recommended!

The hospitality of the owner was great. The breakfast was amazing and the location is super calm.

I would have preferred that the curtains were made of a thicker material because people from the street could see me through. Also, every time that I turned on the bathroom lights there was a very unpleasant noise that came from the extractor. Other than that, my experience was amazing.

It was clean, near the beach..Dizziana made up the room daily and put in some thoughtful touches like beach towel, umbrella and bag. Breakfast was nice, and it was very quiet. There is plenty of parking in the street.

Was in a strange complex of houses and without Google maps would have been difficult to find.

We were looking for a spot to just sleepover, and this place is humble and little, though met our expectations to just simply rest. WiFi connection was good and the breakfast provided was rich and tasty, however the breakfast room was super cold so we had to eat with our jackets on.

B&B Lo Spicchio is a perfect blend: you can get the autonomy of a hotel, feeling like home. Details disclose the host's care: each room has a fridge and a private bathroom, the quality of food for breakfast is selected and some accessories for the beach (such as water, beach towel, sunshade) are kindly offered for free. You can also profit from the little garden, "lo spicchio", to have breakfast or to take a nap under the lemon tree :) About the position: just 5-10 min walking from the beach and just 50mt far from the bus stop to go to the centre (btw, it s just 2.5km, you can easily reach it by walking). But more than that, Tiziana and Francesco (and their 2 kids) are lovely, welcoming and openminded, prompt to help you if you are in trouble (that happened to me) and to give you any sort of info about places and things to do in the city. So, if you are looking for a place to release yourself and feel like home, Lo Spicchio is the right place to stay. Enjoy!! :)

This was our first experience in Sardinia and it was just awesome. The communication with the owner was excellent, we arrived really late, but we got all instruction in video before. The room was really big and we even got a special bed for our daughter. The breakfast was Italian and it was also great. We parked infront of the house.
