Bed & Breakfast "Il Priscio"0

The host was incredibly nice, we arrived very late (almost midnight) and he was happy to wait for us, showed us around the apartment and even offered us cold water. The room was perfect: multiple pillows, lamps by the bed, fridge, big wardrobe, air con, plug adapters and even a balcony. We had our own private bathroom and the kitchen included all the necessary appliances. He was always nice and fast to help us with our queries, we had a lovely time there. Totally recommended! The place is fully equipped with all you may need - toiletries, dishes, spacious common area for preparing meals and cooking by yourself (if needed). The room has a small fridge and is extremely clean. WIFI is also at a very good speed. The bathroom is clean and with normal size. The owner is very kind and helpful. He responds very quickly and provides information about Bari and the area. The property is at 30 min walking distance from the old city - however for people who like to walk.

The only bemol are some people that stay exactly in front of the building's door in the street and shout at different hours of the day. Some group of 5 men. These loud conversations continue late in the evening, too. So, earplugs are mandatory. P.S. It could be a temporary situation,

- Elfio was one of the best hosts I have evet met. He allowed us to check-in early, was replying in a very quick manner, was truly taking care of the apartment and was able to communicate in English with no issues - apartment was located 10-12 min walk from Bari Centrale and Bari FAL (which was perfect, since we had some train/bus daytrips during our stay), around 25 minutes from the old town and port. - clean, spacious and tidy - fridge in the room - private bathroom

- everything was fine, this place deserves highest rates!

The location is great, we could reach the central railway station (Bari Centrale), the beach (Pane e Pomodoro) and the Old Town on foot in 15-25 minutes. The apartment is clean, cosy and equipped with everything you need, including a nice balcony. Elfio, the host is a really kind person who can give useful advice about attractions and good restaurants. He prepared for us the best breakfasts, from fresh local products (he even purchased lactose-free products because of my lactose intolerance).

There weren't any negative aspects.

I came to Bari with my friend Helena and we found "Il Priscio" very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. The host Elfio was very friendly, hospitable and shared lots of information about Bari and the whole area with us. There was a bottle of mineral water and 2 chocolates left for us in the room :) The common kitchen was great with all the cooking facilities/pots/plates/cutlery and also with coffee and tea!!! waiting for us. The bathroom was also very clean with a very good shower and a good quality shower gel/shampoo/soap for us to use. "Il Priscio" is close to the main railway station from where you can get a train or a shuttle bus to the airport.

The apartment is in a goog location that is very close to the Train Station and many Bus Stops that can take you to places like Matera. The kitchen is well equipped and the private bathroom has its own key that only you can use. The bathroom was small but very well equipped and everything worked. The bedroom was spacious and included an AC, hairdrier, balcony and fridge. I really liked the detail with the plugs, it had Italian and European plus, as well as USB port. You can sometimes hear some noise from the outside but for me it was not bothersome at all. I would come back here again :)

It is close to the central station, and you can walk everywhere. We had air conditioner, separate, clean bathroom with shower gel and shampoo. In the room there was a table and chairs.

There is a place at the next building which seems like a pub, therefore we could hear loud voice at the evening. We were not allowed to cook fish in the kitchen, but this is also an advantage because this way the house was not smelly.

Signor Elfio Nicolosi received us with OUTSTANDING hospitability, culture, and competency. Despite the late arrival hour He was present in the object and provided all necessary arrangements and information. Now I understand why Mr. Elfio's breakfasts became legendary - they are very tasty, big enough to satisfy the biggest appetites, homemade, and surprisingly diversified. Mr. Elfio knows everything about Bari and surrounding towns, is happy to share his recommendations on places to visit eat, and on public transportation to surrounding attractions. If comming again to Bari, I would not hesitate to visit again BB Il Priscio.

The stay was perfect.

Elfio is a great host, the communication went smoothly. As you can see that on the map the place located a couple of minutes from the old town but it worth the walk, there are lots ot great caffetterias and shops nearby! The room and the bathroom was clean and well equipped.

There are some birds on the opposite of the road on the balcony and they are very loud, but I guess there is nothing that you can do about it. We could not find the iron.

Perfect stay. Everything was arranged in the best manner. The owner, Mr. Elfio, is attentive to every single detail, so you do not need to worry about anything. He is very helpful and responsive, as well as a brilliant cooker. The apartment is clean and comfortable, with large bathroom and nice balcony. I strongly recommend this facility
