The hotel and premises are absolutely astounding, dare I say surreal - clearly a lot of effort has gone into building something remarkable. There are flowering plants everywhere, in front of the balconies and even on top of the buildings. And palm trees all over. And an enormous swimming pool with artificial "islands". The beach is decent, although somewhat rocky. Ample parking space. Music in the evening, but good stuff and not too loud.

As far as my experience from august 2023 goes, WIFI is spotty at best, utterly broken most of the time. And it's wifi-6 exclusively, incompatible with older devices - had to use my new phone as a wifi bridge, and it would only lock on if kept in the bathroom. I've reported the issue to the staff, to no avail. If you need a good, stable and fast connection for business use, well, none to speak of during my stay.

The hotel itself was beautiful and luxurious , well located in a strategic place from where you can reach the most important tourist attractions in Sicily in a couple of hours. Very good breakfast

The location could be better

Pool was ok, very good in size and not too crowded. All the staff very friendly. Nice program at the piano bar. Dinner choices were excellent. Easy access to the beach including the private beach.

Quite an isolated location. Worth it if you get at least half-board or all inclusive, otherwise there will be a struggle to accommodate lunch and dinner unless you choose to buy it at the hotel. Cefalu is 30 min away by car. Transfer options: a shuttle (extra cost) that runs 9.30 am and 3pm only so one can only reach Cefalu, have a 2 hours window to eat something or have a walk and return to the train station to take the shuttle back. Price is 7 euro a return ticket. The other option would be by taxi which offers more flexibility but that will cost around 30 euro one way. Although the hotel has its own pool and it's advertised like that, no one tells you that you will actually have to pay extra for the access to the pool and private beach and it is not optional. Breakfast has quite a poor range of options, unless you are into a lot of croissants and sweets. Wifi is crap so you shouldn't rely on it and the signal to your own data traffic is poor in that location. Kids club did not impress me at all. Kids 12+ will definitely get bored easily. Check out is at 10 am. There is a possibility to extend the room at an additional cost, but one needs to take into account there's not much to do if the flights are later in the afternoon or evening. A taxi transfer from Palermo airport to the resort is around 150 euro. There are some trips available around the island but there's just 1 option per day from the hotel and they get sold out pretty quickly, so one must organise the week upon arrival if you want to benefit from such extra activities.
