Sunset Hotel

Nice location and access to the beach. Easy to navigate with traveler needing walking assistance. Breakfast was wonderful. Shout out to Marta at the reception desk for assisting us with our stay. And to the evening waiter who managed every table.

This is not under the control of the hotel but one side of the hotel is adjacent to an trailer with an unkept yard and dogs that bark frequently.

Great location opposite beach and near to bars, restaurants and all the attractions of the old town all within easy walking distance. Hotel was very clean, decent size room an balcony, great roof top pool. Staff were generally very good.

Breakfast was fairly good but for the 4 days we there it felt like the staff were overwhelmed and service was a bit hit and miss depending who you were dealing with. We had dinner one night and although food was OK there was just one member of staff taking orders, serving food, clearing plates, getting drinks. I felt sorry for him - reminded me of Fawlty Towers

The staff were exceptional, always happy to help, always happy to stop and chat and always always with a smile. The owner is very visible and like all staff very friendly and amicable. The hotel itself is clean and fresh, the rooms are comfy, the air con is quiet. The rooftop pool and bar were superb. The hotel is on the main seafront promenade and is in a quiet location just past the madness of Chefalu, it’s no more than 10 mins walk on the flat to all the main restaurants Car parking is also free. I’d definitely stay here next time.

Cefalu proved to be a wonderful surprise for us, an old Sicilian town full of character with a lovely beach, and the hotel complimented and enhanced our stay. Beach front hotel with an impressive roof top pool. The staff were all exceptionally cheerful and helpful but I would like to single out Marta and latterly Nancy who were trying to repatriate my bag which was misplaced by British Airways. I did eventually get my bag back via Palermo lost property but nevertheless both individuals tried very hard for me. I would highly recommend Sunset Hotel which is only a scenic 10 minute walk to the old town.

Great location. Silence, only the sound of the sea. Balcony! Very good bed, temperature in the room. Nice shower. Curtains; room could be made completely dark at night. The extremely helpfull and efficient lady at the breakfast buffet. Pool looked amazing, unfurtunately too cold to swim in March.

The hotel is amazing and in a perfect location: a few minutes from the city center and a few meters from the beach. The rooftop pool is something we all need to try! The personnel was extremely professional and helpful, accommodating any requests we had. The room was perfectly equipped, the beds were very comfortable and the balcony had a view on the sea. Excellent breakfast in the courtyard.

Personally I found the prices of drinks at the pool bar a bit high, but the pool was absolutely worth.

The property was clean, well maintained and offered amazing facilities (infinity pool and private beach access). The staff were also helpful and welcoming to us throughout our stay.

Although the room was modern and clean the shower head was rusty/ broken and needed replacing. This is a minor issue, however for the price being paid we would expect premium finishes.

We loved every moment of our stay at this amazing hotel. From the moment we arrived we were impressed by the friendliness of the staff and the ultra modern layout and decor. The position opposite the beach, a short walk to the old town, restaurants and within walking distance from the station, makes it the perfect location. The breakfast area on the stunning terrace was the perfect way to start the day with plenty of options to choose from. The roof top terrace with its amazing infinity pool was perfect for those not wanting to use the beach. Thank you Alfredo and staff for making us feel so welcome, we hope to come back again in the future.

super chic updated property. rooftop infinity pool that gives you an amazing view of Cefalu. steps to the private beach! accommodating staff! they made me espresso shakerato for breakfast! great breakfast too and beautiful outdoor location for breakfast. everyone was SO nice. hotel room was so clean, modern and comfortable.

Everything was perfect from the hotel location for the beach and city center, beautiful views of Cefalu from the rooftop pool, to the great facilities! But especially Salvatore and the entire hotel staff’s attentiveness and kindness made us feel part of their family. Highly recommend!
