This is a beautiful little BB/ hotel with every detail exquisitely designed. From the original tiled flooring and ceilings to the beautifully minimalist highend fittings, the linens and tableware. Absolutely tasteful and high quality. Everything about this place felt luxurious. The shower was wonderful and the bed was the most comfortable I've ever slept on in my life, more than my own at home and I'm a mattress and pillow connoisseur! Alessandra and her husband were incredibly kind and thoughtful, we felt so taken care of. The breakfast was incredible too. I dream to return here!

From the moment we stepped into the beautifully adorned lobby, we knew we were in for a memorable stay. The hosts' impeccable attention to detail truly sets this hotel apart. Every aspect of our experience was crafted with care, making us feel like cherished guests throughout our entire stay. From the warm and personalized welcome to the tastefully curated decor that effortlessly blended modern sophistication with local charm, every inch of this establishment reflects the hosts' dedication to creating a unique and unforgettable ambiance. Our room was an oasis of tranquility - a haven to retreat to after exploring the bustling streets of Catania. The luxurious linens, plush bedding, and thoughtfully placed amenities made us feel pampered and relaxed. It's evident that the hosts take great pride in ensuring their guests have an unparalleled stay. One highlight that stands out was the delectable breakfast spread. Each morning, we were treated to a delightful assortment of fresh, locally sourced delicacies. The attention to detail extended to the culinary offerings as well, with options catering to various dietary preferences, leaving no guest unsatisfied. The hotel's central location was an absolute plus. Just a stone's throw away from the main attractions, we could easily explore the city's historic sites and vibrant culture without hassle. The hosts' recommendations for nearby restaurants and activities were spot-on, enhancing our overall experience. Not only were the hosts attentive to our needs, but they also went the extra mile to ensure we had a memorable stay. Whether it was arranging transportation, suggesting off-the-beaten-path excursions, or simply engaging in genuine conversation, their hospitality left a lasting impression on us.

Nothing, everything was perfect.

Everything was superb. The hotel and rooms are immaculately and tastefully decorated - beautiful furniture and design, spotlessly clean - and the owners really go the extra mile. You can see they take pride in their hotel and making guests happy. The breakfast was perfect too (great choice and beautifully presented). The owners were extremely friendly and helpful - gave an excellent recommendation for dinner which was our best dinner of the holiday, much better than a Michelin star restaurant the previous evening! Also a great location in the centre of Catania. It was by far the best of the four hotels we stayed in Sicily and for the same price as the others. Easily a five star hotel standard.

Nothing.

. A break fast worthy of kings. The breakfast was made especcialy for us every morning by lovely mrs. Alessandra. she is the lovliest host in the world. The room was comfortable, New soup, bed cover and towels every day. The room has a coffee machine and hot water cattle for free use, including coffee capsules and tea bags. free mineral water (regular and sparkling) The location is superb. no more than 30 minutes walk from main attractions. And the owner... oh... the owner. She is so sweet. we were treated like royalty. all her advices were spot on. delightful!

It is just BED and BREAKFAST/ no sitting area outside of the room. the balcony is small - ment only for smoking. although we spent all dy outside so it doesn't matter much I would have liked more hooks in the shower to hang our towels.

Alessandra and her husband were amazing, helpful and welcoming hosts. Ciuri di Strata is a lovely place to stay, the breakfast options were all delicious and made fresh. Our room was the Dalia Suite which was very modern, spacious and clean. The beds were extremely comfy and the bathroom was pristine and decorated beautifully. The location is great, just near the botanical gardens and park. It is also a few minutes walk from the main square and numerous markets, bars and restaurants along the way.

Perfect location, calm and quiet area, easy to find parking and only some minutes walking to city center and main avenues. Beautiful building and decoration. Wide, comfortable and bright spaces and our room had a balcony to an interior garden. Extremely clean like I have never seen before on holidays. The breakfast is superb, a great combination of salty and sweet and fresh fruits to start the day and tours. The staff is excellent, a lovely couple detail oriented, helpful and super nice.

Everything about Ciura di Strata was wonderful! It's located on a kind of classically grotty Catania street & then you enter to find spectacular beautifully & thoughtfully designed rooms. The owner herself checked us in; such a beautiful & charming & gracious person! She & her husband & her mother-in-law live on premises so for those of you old enough to remember staying in pensione this is the ultimate version of that experience. Our room's balcony faced into a leafy interior courtyard that made us feel like were living local. Everything we wanted to see was an easy walk through lively neighborhoods. Highly recommend!

I just wished that I had bought several jars of the Neromonte jams they had in the breakfast room!

The new and updated B&B was perfect for our 4 night stay in Catania, the building and rooms were absolutely beautiful. Alessandra and her husband were wonderful hosts and provided excellent customer service. They helped us find parking nearby and provided a comprehensive list of food and drink recommendations. Every recommendation we tried was wonderful and all of Alessandra's recommendations were within walking distance of the B&B. The location is perfect for those who wish to be in the centre and close to the Catania nightlife while at the same time being in a quieter little street. The room we stayed in was a great size and the bathroom was huge. There was enough space for the two of us and all our luggage. The bed was extremely comfortable and ensured we were well rested and able to explore Catania. Breakfast each morning was wonderful and included a selection of either sweet (fruit, yogurt, cereal, pancakes) or savory (eggs, cheese, cold meats, bread) options along with local jams and honey. We would highly recommend Ciuri di Strata to singles and couples visiting Catania.

Confortable, well located and clean residance. Alessandra was very helpfull for our needs. Residance is well located in cty center. The street where the building is located is a bit neglected however the residence bulding is brand new renovated and confortable. Breakfast is served acording to your selections and we like it. They are very helpfull for restaurant and tourustic advises. If you are visiting Catania and want to stay inside the cty this is the correct place to stay.

There is everything here to love! first Allesandra is so welcoming and friendly and communicated with us so well before our arrival. secondly the b&b is beautiful! High painted ceilings, beautifully patterned tile floors and a soft palette of colors on the walls makes for an enchanting environment. The bed is oh so comfortable from the mattress to the sheets and the four pillows gracing our large queen sized bed. The shower was great. the bathroom beautiful and we had a small balcony overlooking a lovely garden. Another in our group had a small terrace also looking over the garden which was a tranquil place to sit in the morning and evening. And then the amazing delicious and healthy breakfast!!! Great choices from the scrambled eggs to the avocado and smoked salmon toast to the apple carrot ginger juice. a great way to start a day. Allesandra recommended wonderful restaurants and bars to make our stay in Catania surprisingly enjoyable. Stay here!!!! It is a gem and a short walk to the shopping, the fish market and the main square but away from the crowds. We loved it.

I regret that we only stayed one night. I want to come back! There is nothing here not to love. You must walk up a flight of stairs to get to the hotel but they are wide and easy to navigate. We found parking easy on the street outside although there is a parking garage nearby.
