Relais Corte Palmieri & Il Chiostro - Residenza d'epoca

Amazing location in the old town which was beautiful! Breakfast was very cute on the terrace :) We loved the whole surroundings of this hotel, the small pool area was beautiful and lovely to chill in at the end of the day. They also have a bar on the terrace next door so you can order whatever drinks you like to have in any of the communal spaces. The staff offer to help book any beach clubs, tours etc in the area. We loved Bikini beach!

The standard rooms could do with a slight make over in comparison to the the rest of the hotel. However the bed itself was very comfy in our room! Other than that we had a lovely stay :)

I Loved everything at this unique property, it was beautiful. Because the property has terraces and different seating areas it never felt crowded. It was relaxed, beautiful and peaceful place to stay. Very small pool but enough to just have a dip in. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Loved the cappuccino for breakfast included in the breakfast.

Nothing to fault here at all. But I would of loved to have some history of this beautiful building and to know what the different areas used to be used as in the past when it was a cloister. Breakfast had too many sweet cakes, I know it’s the Italian style breakfast but I find it very hard to start the day with sweet cakes. I wish it would of had more bread choices, and toppings like ham, cheese etc.

Relais Corte Palmieri & Il Chiostro was a nice hotel from cleanliness, decor and styling, location and staff. I liked everything the hotel, especially the staff, shout out for Giovanna and Anna. The buffet breakfast was nice, typically what you would expect for breakfast in Italy. Overall, it was super nice experience. Check in and out was efficient and quick. The room was clean, well-appointed and spacious. A nice property in the old town within a short distance of the beach with a lot of dining options.

There was no swimming pool however there was a nice cooling pool equipped with shower facilities.

The room was clean and large. Breakfast was good on the rooftop.

The manager said she would send someone to pick us up at the Marina parking lot. After 45 minutes and several calls this happened.. We were advised that we had to pay after 3:00 PM for overnight. Not a problem, if the machines worked .We asked at another Hotel for help and she said not to worry The machines were out of service and no one checked the lots. This all was true and we had no problem. The shower floor was very slippery and I had a fall. Be careful in this very old hotel

Beautiful quirky building - right in the centre of the old town. Our room was gorgeous and spacious. Loved the small pool for cooling off and the roof top terrace for breakfast. The staff were so friendly and were able to organise pickup and return for a day at the beach .

Parking is a bit tricky but we were lucky to find free parking at the port and were able to leave the car there.

The staff was extremely helpful in guiding us to a parking spot, picking us up, showing us all the facilities at check in. We enjoyed our apertivo cocktail and conversation with the bartender on their terrace. The breakfast was outstanding and everyone was a joy to be around.

Orient yourself before you stroll the streets because you can become disoriented and have a difficult time finding your way back. We met another couple who it happened to twice.

Breakfast very good, varied selection. Loved the plunge pool and all the various terraces etc to enjoy the views and the sun. Rooms very spacious. Staff extremely helpful. Parking nearby and hotel picked us and out luggage up in a golf cart and transferred us directly to the hotel, very well organised

Think there should be an electric jug/tea and coffee making facilities in the room

I loved the grounds and amenities! So many places to relax, take in a good view and read a book! The staff at breakfast were amazing and friendly! Hotel staff were nice. We got a renovated room and it was spacious, clean and beautiful! Location is great - would stay again!

Not accessible for people who may be physically compromised

My mother and I were there for the second time and it was great again! Wonderful and unique hotel in the middle of the old town of Gallipoli that leaves nothing to be desired and invites to discover anew every time. Above all, the extremely friendly and warmly people who work there make the stay an unforgettable experience!

Our room was great once we got the one we booked - good location and saw an amazing sunset from the rooftop terrace

Be clear this is not a hotel it is a B&B - we had to fight to get the room we actually booked - no facilities to get any sort of drink during the day so a little disappointing for the money we paid
