It was lovely to stay at Lo Svevo - not just because it is exceptionally tasteful, clean, beautiful and well-located, but also because of the friendliness and helpfulness of Francesca. When I arrived at the steps to Lo Svevo, I could not believe how lucky I was - as someone who loves antiquity, marble, Italian style - to have chosen this accommodation. Be mindful, if you need help with stairs, that this might not be the place for you (there are not too many...just stating); however, absolutely everything about this lovely place was a stand-out. Absolutely everything. The bathroom was exceptionally nice; the bed was exceptionally comfortable; the fresco on the ceiling was a surprise and exceptionally beautiful. And, as stated previously, Francesca was a wonderful host. Would go back there in a flash.

The property had been recently restored to a very high spec. The room was 5 star. Francesca was very attentive and helpful.
The breakfast had to be pre ordered every day. The breakfast room was quite small. We were the only guests while we were there, but if the property had been full, it would have been very cramped.

The location was great. The historic building itself also was very lovely and scrupulously clean and the staff were kind and well-meaning.
The parking rules in the historic core of Jesi, although noone’s fault, required some planning and was quite inconvenient. The restoration of the building while nicely done and preserving historic details, frescoed ceilings etc was a bit cold and lacked a personal feeling. Breakfast was just OK. The place seeme understaffed and the staff harried
