If you book Il Tosco you will have a wonderful stay and not want to leave. Pure Luxury from start to finish. Breakfast was fantastic with lots of choice and extra treats appearing from the kitchen. Home made cake and fresh coffee available 24hrs, too. Beautiful property and our room looked out on the Tuscan countryside. Super large bathroom with a jet bath tub. Elena helped us with dinner and wine tour reservations which was great.. Thank you. All the staff were lovely and made our stay memorable. Having parking included close by was a plus.

Breakfasts were amazing! The staff were very accomodating. The owner is the chef and does all the baking. In addition to the breakfast, the kitchen is open with baked goods and beverages all the time. Angelina made sure our stay was perfect. When Angelina wasn't there Jenifer was there to help when we needed it. The location was great if you want to be in the historic area. We walked to restaurants and shops. Il tosco is a beautifully restored historic building. The rooms have all needed amenities, the air conditioning and wifi work well, the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are well equipped. One note, IlTosco is on the first floor, which in Italy is not on the ground floor. Il Tosco is about 20 stairs up. The steps are not steep, easy to climb with a landing in the middle. However, we had a lot of luggage and both my husband and I have knee and back issues and could not carry all our luggage up. Angelina and Jennifer promptly carried all the luggage up. They made dinner reservations for us at great nearby restaurants. As I said earlier, they did everything they could to make our stay very enjoyable.

Elena, her mum and Dad made us feel home from the moment we arrived. This was truly a luxury stay in an authentic family setting. Parking was easy and the building/room was stunning. Elena helped my friend and I with reservations, places to see and restaurants to eat at. The breakfast was phenomenal - like nothing I have had before. All freshly cooked/baked by Elena’s mum with authentic recipes and local products. The room was stunning. It was so sad to leave and I cannot wait to come back. Thank you so much Elena, mum and dad (and Julia!) for having us.

What an amazing spot! We were just in awe of Il Tosco and all of Montelpuciano. Tucked high on the hill, it was such a special place for our Tuscan family get away. We were able to walk all over town and easily access our car when we wanted to take day trips. Breakfast each morning was fit for a king and queen. The rooms were so comfortable and charming and the staff was TOP NOTCH. Everything from making special order pancakes to helping set up horse back riding in town for the kids, they were a wealth of knowledge and went above and beyond for us. Thank you, thank you!

The hotel exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts we have had, with a wide range of options and served in a classic dining room. The interior of the hotel is beautiful, and we had good sized room with a very comfortable bed and an amazing large shower. We really appreciated having access to a kitchen with free coffee, tea, water, fruit and even cakes (!), the complimentary wine and cantucci. Staff were very friendly and helpful. An excellent base to explore Montepulciano from.

Only thing I can say is that it wasn't the cheapest option, but was worth it.

This is an exceptional place. The room was furnished to a very high specification and the bathroom was luxurious. The bed was super comfortable with high quality bed linen, which made for a cool night's sleep. Free access to the kitchen was a bonus and the breakfast was simply outstanding - we did not need any lunch after it and there was so much choice. We would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Wonderful hotel, lovely friendly helpful staff, great decor, comfortable rooms and beds, nice shower, great shampoo, great breakfast with lots of very nice cheeses, prosciuttos, fruits, cakes, quiche, tiramisu, egg dishes, breads, etc., nice kitchen with cakes 24/7 too. Super quiet with great location too. Really no complaints at all. It's a lovely place to stay and I only wish I could've spent more time here.

Elena was super awesome. She provided all the details that we needed to have an amazing stay. She provided us with a lot of useful informations for sightseeing and visiting. She even made us dinner reservations on a crowded day. We loved everything, the hospitality, the location, the room, the views from the building, everything was awesome. There were always cakes, drinks, snacks around (very tasty and free). Our only regret was that we could not stay more, but we will definitely come back next year!

Very unique and beautiful property. The decoration is kept traditional with some modern touches. Breakfast was served in a big dining table and everything was fresh and delicious. Angelina was very polite and helpful. She gave us great restaurant and wine bar recommendations and made sure we feel comfortable to ask for anything we need. All in all, a great stay when visiting Montepulciano.

The customer service was exceptional. Felt like home. Lots of space to hang out. They fed us like Royalty at Breakfast. Angelina, Victoria and Elena, Thank you for such a pleasant stay.

Great location, but difficult to find when driving a car there the first time. Recommend putting up a sign or other identification marker.
