Hotel Rutiliano

Luca the owner was very kind and helpful and gave us the best advices for dinner or what to do. We really enjoyed the stay here. It is a family run hotel and you really feel it. The breakfast was very good and the hotel is located very good in Pienza. Next time we come, we will certainly stay here again.

The only thing which would had been annoying is the sound of the A/C it was when it was on very loud and gave sounds where you couldn’t sleep, but luckily it cold down at night and no A/C was needed.

The best thing about this small boutique hotel is Lucca, the man who runs it. He is so helpful and accommodating. The rooms are very clean, and the breakfast is very good. There is a lot of outdoor seating with umbrellas for either very sunny or inclement weather. It is located a few meters outside of the main town center. Most of all, there is free on-site parking, which, if you have ever been in Pienza, is great, as parking is at a premium here. There is also a pool that is very clean with crystal clear water.

Good location, outside of the old town therefore quiet but close to a lot of restaurants and cafes. Nice pool and outside area with enough space to sit and rest. Staff was friendly but quite reserved. Great breakfast with a lot of options served outside with great coffee. Hotel was always very clean and rooms were cleaned very well.

Rooms were old and outdated. Therefore the airco was not working well and quite loud. Also the shower was very small.

Very comfortable, quiet modern hotel. Parking on-site and easy. A short flat walk into the old part of Pienza. The breakfast buffet was good. Pienza is a cute, small old town and the walking is flat.

We stayed on a Tuesday night and nearly all the restaurants in town were booked out when we started looking at 8pm. We didn't start eating until 9.30.

Luca provided excellent customer service and the hotel had great amenities, including free wi-fi and a delicious breakfast. The hotel was just a short walk to the city center.

Although there was a bar, it was never open.

Hotel is located just outside the old centre of Pienza. Two minutes walk to the old centre, and a good base to visit cities like Montepulciano and Montalcino by car. Excellent breakfast, it's lovely to sit on the terrace while the sun shines and the birds sing. Free parking. Clean rooms. Airconditioning.

The Wifi didn't always work properly.

Highly recommend staying in this hotel. There is a large free parking area. The hotel is about 5 minutes walk to the old town where you can find many restaurants. I especially recommend La Bucca Delle Fate with delicious meals and even more tasty desserts. The hotel has a swimming pool where you can relax. The room is big and comfortable. The bathroom is large. Everything is well maintained and clean. True home away from home with the provision of gluten free breakfast. We will certainly return.

Leaving - we loved our stay

Super breakfast with great choice of food. Food of very good quality, good location in the walking distance from the old town

Hotel has some Spa utilities but I did not get the information from the owner I should book a sauna beforehand and because we were there just for two nights so we did not get the chance to go to sauna at all :(
