We arrived by train from Naples, an excellent journey, only a 13min walk to B&B Ai Tintori. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We did not breakfast there as there are so many options out nearby. The location is perfect for getting out and exploring Palermo. The B&B is at the port end of Via Vittorio Emanuele, the main street that runs through the heart of Palermo. This street is pedestrianised and now a pleasant 25min stroll from end to end. If you have the time we would recommend taking the 389P bus out to the Cattedrale di Monreale to see the stunning mosaics. You could take a taxi but a bus ticket that lasts for 90mins only costs €1.40. Otherwise there is just so much to see and do in Palermo. If you are doing some washing as you travel they have a washing line on the roof top terrace garden.

The mattress was a bit soft for my liking but otherwise nothing. Only a warning if you are not fit it is 54 steps the the top floor room. There is no lift.

This review applies to the establishment’s family-sized apt only. Very conveniently located; warm welcome from proprietor & quick, helpful responses to questions; charming, old-style Italian apt w/ kitchen large enough for a family of four; extremely comfortable beds in bright, spacious room. Pleasant rooftop terrace for exclusive use by occupants of family apt.

Biggest issues: a) No working wifi on the 6th flr where apt was. b) Safety issue: door key to family apt was a bit tricky to use. It took a lot of fiddling around in keyhole to lock or unlock door - not good situation in case of fire or other emergency since door is locked from inside w/ key. Other possible considerations: a) LOTS of stairs, no elevator to 6 th flr. However, staff very helpful w/ carrying luggage up & down stairs. b) All beds are in one room. That could be a concern for people who want more privacy. It wasn’t a problem for my family.

A very large and spacious apartment, located at the beginning of via Vittorio Emanuele, very well attended by Valentina who welcomed us even having arrived very late at night. Ideal for family travel and very well equipped. Breakfast is served at Cafe Luca, in front of the Giardino Garibaldi, which is one block away but helps to start the day feeling the heartbeat of the city. You can choose a wide variety of products of very good quality. If you arrive by car, keep in mind that it is a ZLT area where it is very difficult to park

The location is great. Next to the main street and a lot of restaurants, bars and not far from some of the main city attractions. The person who checked us in was very welcoming and very informative. The room was great for 3 people as we had 2 separate bedrooms. If available, there is free parking just in the little plaza behind the building.

The shower was clogged and even if we told them they did not try to fix it. The payment process at the end was confusing and it took us a while to figure it out.

I love everything about this place. Location - close to all the attractions and places to visit in Palermo. Host - amazing Valentina who gave us a map and marked all the places to see nearby, restaurants, caffe, night parties. She was always available for us. Honestly, Valentina was one of the best hosts I have ever met. Place was clean and stylish with everything you need. We loved the stay. Trust me, you don't need anything else in Palermo.

Amazing place in an amazing location. We stayed at the big and comfortable family apartment. Rooms (bedroom and living room) were spacious and properly air conditioned. Rooftop terrace was great. The owner helped us with the airport transfer, and we could also leave our luggage on the last day for a few hours without any issues.

It was not a big problem for me, but it can be a big problem for someone else - there's no elevator and you have to climb a lot of stairs to reach the room at the top floor.

Exceptionally clean rooms with great location right at the start of the old town. The staff, Carmen especially was the most helpful owner you will ever meet. Anything you need anytime she was right there. We enjoyed our stay at the fullest thanks to the advise and help of the staff. We looking forward to meet again!

The apartment was just fantastic. Our room was very big and clean! Location was just perfect, in the end of the center/ lively street so you could just walk around and find nice places to eat and drink and in the evening we didn’t hear noise because the apartment is on the side street. Sabrina welcomed us very warmly and gave us lots of information about the city, really amazing and kind person. Whenever we wrote her for additional advice or recommendations, she replied very quickly, so I think she is born to be nice! Thank you Sabrina!!! Also the other hosts were very kind too I will definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Palermo and for sure we will go back every time we visit Palermo

nothing or maybe that there is so shade on the roof terrace .. but as I sad we loved it there !

we did not apply for breakfast, no cannot say we had to leave at a time when no reception present but they gave us a key so we could come back later we were contacted by whatsapp immediately after reservation, all perfect
