If you’re visiting Palermo I would strongly recommend you stay at Albatros B&B. It’s a beautiful apartment in a wonderful location close to all of the areas of interest. The rooms a spacious and spotlessly clean, the breakfast is superb and the Wi-Fi first class. Our hosts were brilliant and looked after us and after a long day of sightseeing coming back to the apartment felt like coming home. We will definitely be back, a real 5 star apartment.

- little bit noisy in the room because of being located in the most busy street of Palermo (not so bad we could sleep well with a few distractions, but if you are really sensitive it might not be the best place for you to sleep in)

Via Roma is very busy and noisy. Earplugs are essential! The door at street level was difficult to open.

Spotless and spacious rooms. room was cleaned everyday which was great. friendly and helpful hosts who gave us some good recommendations. Easy self check-in. Breakfast for $15 euro per couple was great. So handy to have the bus shuttle right outside the hotel! would recommend other travellers to book in advance as this does sell out. location is fantastic, close to many Palermo attractions.

The mattress and pillows were a little uncomfortable but given this is not a 5 star hotel that is acceptable.

Location was fabulous. Easy walk to many sites and food areas. The air conditioner worked great and they had a king bed ( unfortunately the mattress was too hard!)

Very very very hard to get in the old front door. Building looked creepy when you entered very dark and old . Also key to door of apartment very very hard to unlock. It took 15-20 min to get the doors open. But the owner did text back pretty quick when we were getting worried about getting in!

Location: close to Palermo central station in case you want to use train. The airport bus leaves you 3 minutes from the hotel. It is also close to the historical center. Staff: Gianni and Monica were very friendly as they wanted to make sure everything was ok (with the room and also with the breakfast). They gave us info about the airport shuttle and bus to San Vito Lo Capo. Breakfast: The food was delicious. Every day we had different Sicilian specialties.

The bedsheets seemed a little obsolete: one of the pillows had some yellow spots. There was a strange noise from behind the toilet whenever the hot water was coming (not disturbing during nights).

Gianni and Monica are really great hosts, we arrived in Palermo late on a Saturday and they where there waiting for us to explain everything and even give us suggestions of places to visit and have something to eat and drink. This B&B is spotless and seems brand new, with a perfect location in one of the main boulevards of Palermo, right on the historic city center. The room and bathroom are really spacious and clean, with everything you need for a nice stay. Since it's located on a busy street, it can get a bit noisy at night but since the bed is very comfortable, we always slept really well!

Central location

With Italian sanitary system !! We had to ask for coffee & tea to be refilled daily And ask for milk. Breakfast only available for one hour each morning 830-9,30 , so if you book a tour you miss out,!. We asked if we could have a bread roll in the fridge the night before but this was not possible..The manager was very helpful with directions.

Gianni and Monica are lovely hosts. The B&B is newly renovated and modern, spotless, and cheerful. The best bed pillows we’ve ever found in Italy! It is close to many good restaurants and located in one of the main boulevards of Palermo. Breakfast was over-the-top delicious, everyday including new selection of Sicilian pastries, as well as ham, cheese, fruit, and cereal. And of course, espresso and cappuccino and juice.

Shower is small but that’s the way it often is in old buildings that have been modernized.

It was in the city center and you could walk everywhere and enjoy the city and the activities in the city. It was very clean and more importantly the staff were very nice.

Since the apartment is on the main street and the room that we were staying had window towards the main street, it is very loud, specifically during the weekend.
