The staff were amazing. They helped organize our taxis upon arrival and for day trips. Massimo and Alessio were very informative and gave tips of different places to visit throughout Palermo. They were extremely kind and welcoming! And the location was perfect !!! Close to the train station as well as in the city centre near all the action. The B&B also had breakfast every morning which was delicious and classic for Sicily.

There isn’t an elevator however the cab driver was very kind and helped bring up our bags.

B&B Gallidoro is an amazing gem, set in an ancient palazzo in the historic district of Palermo. The proprietor, Massimo, is a wonderful host and made our stay comfortable and relaxing with his ample, delicious breakfasts and the charm of the rooms. The B&B has only five rooms, with comfortably appointed modern bathrooms, and sound proof windows (not that we really needed that). Palermo is a marvelous city, a meeting ground for so many historic world cultures. We can't wait to return and will book at B&B Gallidoro for its perfect location, comfort, and great hospitality. Thank you, Massimo, for making our visit to Palermo so rewarding! We can't wait to meet you again!

Everything was perfect.

Brilliant staff. Communication was clear and they were always available to help. Chiara was so accomodating before and on arrival. Fantastic location, walking distance to main attractions. Alessio was really helpful showing us where to go. There is free parking available nearby although we had to pay 5€, as you need a pass to drive in the historic centre. Saturday and Sunday are free and Chiara was really helpful with this. Good breakfast. One again, Massimo and Alessio always available. Good size bedroom and bathroom and all really clean. We highly recomend this B&B, if you stay in Palermo.

The location is fantastic, in the main road of the historic centre. The room is spacious and comfortable, also super clean. The hosts were welcoming and super helpful in everything we needed during our stay. Really friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was very good and the B&B had a very homely feel. Overall very good value for money.

The building courtyard is quite rundown giving the place a not so nice appearance, but it does not interfere in your stay at all. The appointment is on the second floor without a lift so if you have mobility issues or kids it may be an issue. For us as a couple was fine though.

A clean, welcoming B&B ideally located to explore historic Palermo with its wonderful cathedral, churches, palace and markets. Close to many restaurants and shops. The friendly and welcoming hosts facilitated our airport collection and suggestions to make the most of our few days in the city. As a family of four we stayed in a quad room with private bathroom and that suited our needs perfectly. Thank you Massimo and Alessio!

What a great location....right in the heart of everything! Massimo and his staff were exceptionally friendly and always making sure we were happy. Our room was not fancy but very large and had everything you could possibly need. It was fun to be able to look out onto the street and see what was going on. Breakfast was delicious....warm, flaky croissants and the most fabulous jams in addition to plenty of other selections. Massimo was very helpful in arranging our pick-up at the airport which was definitely an added plus after travelling fifteen hours. It was a wonderful start to our three week adventure around the island.

Everything was wonderful!

Great location in the center of Palermo's Historic Section. Lots of restaurants nearby. Best homemade breakfast we had while in Italy. The owners were extremely helpful with advice, directions and info on the history of Palermo, and helped us find parking just outside of the restricted area. Will happily stay in this hotel if we ever find ourselves in Palermo again.

The best, and most secure, parking option was about 10 minutes from Hotel.

Gallidoro is perfectly located for exploring Palermo Centro Storico and beyond with a comfy room and all the necessities. Massimo and the team are super friendly and helpful hosts who got in touch and gave us all the necessary information in advance - specifically, if you are driving to the hotel, note that it is located in a zone of limited traffic access and you will need a daily permit which can be purchased in advance which the team at Gallidoro can help you with. Also, if you’re driving Google maps will bring you to a courtyard just behind the property, which we used as (free) parking for the two days of our stay and then the entrance is just from the other side of the building.

Fresh coffee and croissants each morning with a choice of spreads as well as meat and cheese. Alessio and Massimo were very polite and gave excellent recommendations of Palermo including Ballarak for craft beer and Farmacia Alcolica for cocktails.

Bathroom was adjacent the main breakfast room away from the bedroom but this obviously cant be helped. It was still clean and well kept. Apart from that nothing at all.

The hosts are excellent! We only had a few hours in Palermo, so they gave us a map and and drew a walking route to all the highlights. We had to leave early the next morning before breakfast is normally served, but Massimo got everything ready for us before anyone else was even awake (by the way, the croissants were the best we had in our entire time in Italy). The hosts are passionate about the city and their property. B&B Gallidoro is located within a very old historical building. Don’t be put off by the entry, which is still being restored. Gallidoro is beautiful and spotless.
