Hotel Rivus

Good location, not in the centre of the town but a lovely 15min stroll along the picturesque river brings you to the centre. Welcoming reception staff. Good size comfortable room, bathroom and balcony. We had a problem in the restaurant with a member of staff but this was resolved exceptionally the following morning by a female member of staff from the restaurant. We didn't use the pool area as lake Garda is just so beautiful so cannot comment on that area. Would return again :)

There was no hand sanitizer in entry to the restaurant so we brought our own. There was no do not disturb signs in the room, I said to the cleaner outside my room on the first two days no cleaning needed, she thanked me and we said bye. These two days we returned to our room being cleaned, likely some communication barrier. The third day I was just showered and standing in my room nude drying off and the cleaner came on into our room without knocking. After this we didn't worry about it and just let room service in each day.

The staff were extremely polite, friendly and welcoming. They were all extremely accommodating and helpful, they couldn’t do enough for me. They also allowed me to store my bags with them while I was waiting to leave and called a taxi for me. The hotel was a 15/20 minute walk from the town, however it was a beautiful walk along the water that allowed us to experience the wildlife and sunshine.

My only issue was the air conditioning had not been turned on in the hotel when I stayed, however it was May so it might have been to early in the year.

Breakfast was superb, rooms spacious and staff are very nice and helpful! Cleanliness so so but overall it was worth.

Cleanliness so so -spider webs with every cranny - be careful if you don't drive a car - its quite a walk to the Centre (no bus goes there) - beautiful walk by the lake but it takes approx. 30min from hotel to Centre for bus station etc..

loved the walk into town along the river -perfect & the views across the river the staff were really helpful & went out of there way to help us in all situations the food in the restaurant was really good & they made fresh gluten free pasta for us

we were not driving to lake Garda & whilst the property is close to the station in distance the river makes the route complex & it is not possible to cross the nearest bridge without a car however it is ideal if you are driving

Nice rooms, breakfast and pool area!

Slightly out from the centre of Peschiera if you are walking.. About 20mins walk and no street lights alongside the water walking back after dark so we had to use our phone lights which can feel a little unsafe!

Very nice hotel, very good breakfast with a lot of variety. Reception staff very friendly. The room is excellent, clean, of course. Great bathroom. Everything very clean. There is a noise coming from the road even with everything closed, but it didn't disturb our sleep.

The hotel is clean, everything was in working order and the staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet offered nice and diverse choices. The location close to autostrada was very convenient and it is only a short walk away from the city centre.

i liked the staff and the breakfest in the morning, the pool and overall was nice

This is a excellent place to stay if you travel transit. Close to road, large private parking, 24h open front desk, rooms was clean and warm. Very good breakfast ! Price - performance -10/10

20-30 minute walk to Porta Brescia that takes you onto the island with a nice choice of restaurants and bars. Room was large and reasonably priced the quality of the hotel and hospitality we received there.
