You have a view to the mountains on both sides of the room, mattress is comfortable, cleanliness is outstanding, and all the added little touches to make a traveler's life less stressful. Loved it!
Not specifically about this place in particular, but like everywhere else in this part of Tuscany, a car is essential. Although the place is close enough to risk a walk from the train station, keep in mind buses and taxis are not readily available.

Highly recommend, great value for price. Loved host and location. Beautiful spot, close to trails to hike and run. They do focus on energy efficient updates, which we loved. Host speaks English. Free parking. Good restaurant within 10 min walk. Yummy little biscuits and hot water kettle for tea/instant coffee they provide.
Would be nice to have kitchen facility available but we knew this going into it.

Roberto and Roberta gave such a wonderful host in the quiet village, situated perfectly well in a romantic valley, surrounded by mountain villages and castles. The landscape invites for hiking and biking. Lucca is just around the corner. The house itself is almost 300 years old and renewed with the latest and perfectly matching equipment. A place to stay for long, and to recommend to my best friends and relatives.
