Villa Yiara is absolutely breathtaking! The most gorgeous hotel I have ever stayed in. Nothing compares to how stunning the room, hotel, view, and service is. The attention to detail was impeccable. They truly go above and beyond for every guest. Highly recommend! My partner and I stayed for 4 days and we didn’t want to leave. If we didn’t have to go back home for work we would have extended our trip. Out of this world! The owner is truly the most lovely lady! She thought of everything and had everything we could possibly need. Made all of our reservations for us, got us front row loungers on the beach and even helped track down a missing gift that we left in our rental car.

I wouldn’t change a thing, truly spectacular! The staff are amazing and go the extra mile. Our room was immaculate every day that we came back. They were spectacular!

We absolutely loved our stay at Villa Yiara and if you’re thinking of doing loads more research, save your time, and just book here! We booked the room with a large terrace, sofas, whirlpool bath and loungers as it was our honeymoon. The room was large, spacious and very clean. Great working aircon and a well stocked mini bar/fridge (chargeable). The hotel set higher up in Positano, but this didn’t affect us at all. My husband had a broken foot, so we only climbed the stairs once and got the local internal Positano bus thereafter, which is great and goes from outside the hotel down to the main local square. We used the portering service at the port, took our luggage up to the villa and we also used this on our departure. The system worked really well. The hotel quotes 10 euros per luggage, but on arrival the porters were very insistent the amount had gone up to 15 euros per luggage. It’s still worth every penny though, so use it! We ate near the hotel a few times and can highly recommend C’era Una Volta for a very well cooked and delicious local meal. It was very good value, not fancy, just good honest Italian food. We ate there twice it was so good and is worth booking, as people were getting turned away. We also ate at Luna, which is an absolute hidden gem and I cannot understand why it doesn’t get more reviews and wasn’t busier. It was without a doubt, the best meal we had during our 10 day trip around Italy. We had the Luca tasting menu and needed rolling out of the restaurant at the end! It’s worth leaving room however for the incredible breakfast Villa Yiara provide every day. It is delicious and massive and delivered to your room every day. We didn’t need to eat until dinner! Thank you for having us, we just wish we could have stayed longer.

Everything was perfect . The room was absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was amazing. so much food and it was delicious!

My husband and I spent 6 nights here. We arrived while it was raining and Raul so kindly grabbed all of our luggage from our driver and carried it to our room! The suite with terrace is gorgeous and huge! The scent of flowers fills the air. The shower is amazing! Fantastic pressure. I even found a powerful blow dryer with a diffuser nozzle under the sink. It worked pretty well. Imara the owner is a gem! She pays attention to every detail and is at your disposal at all times. I really liked the location. No matter where you are there will be a lot of steps, it’s Positano. Imara showed us a shortcut to the beach, maybe 10 minute walk downstairs . There are plenty of good restaurants near Villa Yiara. She arranged a shuttle to a restaurant we wanted to visit. She also helped with any questions we had . The private terrace is the most beautiful/ large and magical place. The view is stunning! A large breakfast is served every morning on the private terrace . I will miss this. It’s truly a wonderful stay. We will 100% be back.

Honestly, this hotel is definitely one of my favourite hotels that I’ve stayed at. The hotels are a blend of modern and classic, featuring beautiful modern bathrooms, big screen TVs, a gorgeous balcony overlooking the sea as well as grand chandeliers. Truly a beautiful hotel, extremely good location, bit of a walk to the beach but honestly I think the location was worth it, it’s not in an area overwhelmed by tourists where you can’t walk anywhere, its well balanced with restaurants and shops only a few steps away. I think the best bit about this hotel for me though were the staff, from the moment we were greeted by Raul at the entrance of the hotel it felt like I was staying with family. I had also booked a sunset boat trip for my partner and I prior to arriving to Positano (where I was planning to propose), only to find out in the morning of the booking that it would have to be cancelled due to large waves. Imara (the owner) who was at reception when I found out was so helpful in finding alternatives as well as willing to go above and beyond to help the proposal happen. I can not express how unconditionally helpful she was and I will forever be grateful. Thank you Imara. Lastly, I’ve stayed all over the world and had all kinds of breakfasts provided, the experience provided by Villa Yiara was truly magical and definitely up there, a freshly made platter of a variety of pastries, eggs, yoghurts, breads, cake and fruit was brought to our balcony and just sitting there eating the super tasty food and looking out to the sea was beautiful.

The view was spectacular from the 2 balconies in our room. We actually able to see the ocean from the bed. The breakfast was the best I have ever had at a hotel/villa. They deliver 2 full plates of food to the room at time of your choosing. It was wonderful in every sense of the word. The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Upon arrival, they helped carry our luggage to the room. About 10 min walk to the beach and ferry. Some great places to eat very close by the villa. The bed was larger than most beds in Europe and came with a lot of pillows. Absolutely loved it and would recommend to honeymooners.

We had the room with the outdoor tub and very large terrace with a private entrance and an adjustable awning. In the hot weather this was all very welcome and filling the tub with cold water was like a plunge pool! The breakfast was plentiful and fresh with your choice of eggs. Room was clean, most comfortable bed we stayed in on an 11 night trip. Amazing shower, iron in room and additional hair dryer in vanity under sink. Lots of storage areas. Bottom of our private entrance led straight to several shops and some great restaurants.

The entrance terrace could be better utilised for breakfast/drinks service for rooms without the big terrace? There was the mini bar but some out of hours fresh snacks/wine would be nice however there are shops very close to the property. We got a taxi to the property but its a long walk if you get the ferry with lots of steps, so consider this! Don’t come to Positano if you struggle with steps or slopes!

We LOVED everything about Villa Yiara! The team of people working at the front of house and back of house are extremely friendly, warm, professional and kind. Everyone went out of their way to make our stay special. The breakfast served on our balcony every morning was delicious and the view was spectacular. The room was clean, light and bright with fresh flowers everywhere. The shower was big and spacious. Extra professional touches of care, like umbrellas ready and available to use when it rained and beach bag and beach towel’s available for use on beach days. We were treated with such kindness and care from the moment we arrived to the moment we left. We stayed in room 3 (beautiful beautiful chandelier and view).

Breakfast was more than enough. Owners were helpful and friendly. Easy walk to town - shopping area. Pretty view & staff were very nice. Great restaurants near by.

I think it would be nice to have a comfy chair in the room to sit on vs a desk chair. People had mentioned stairs and I didn’t think it would be as many, it rained and rained so it was probably not the best for older people going up and down the stairs. I wish they had wash cloths to wash face. And additional hooks to hang things in bathroom. Minor things. Didn’t like all the pillows on the bed because at night the only place to put them was on the floor and then they went back on the bed in morning.

Villa Viara was the most beautiful accommodation, located about a 15/20 minute walk via the pedestrian steps to the main street. The hotel and then room itself were spotless and the decor was absolutely gorgeous, along with the most amazing views from the balcony. There were a number of lovely restaurants located nearby and it was extremely quiet at night as it was located away from the hustle and bustle of the main part of Positano but still within walking distance. Imara, the owner, and all the staff were extremely friendly and helpful and we received two lovely glasses of Prosecco from Imara upon arrival for my friend’s birthday, which was such a lovely touch. Imara also provided us with a list of restaurant recommendations, and the two places that we tried were delicious - Saraceno D’oro and Da Vincenzo. The breakfast was amazing, a platter full of fresh pastries, bread, yoghurts and fruit which was delivered to the room at the time chosen by us the evening before. We had the most amazing time in Positano and this was highly attributable to our stay in Villa Yiara, would highly recommend staying here!
