Hotel & Restaurant Casolare Le Terre Rosse

Everything! The photographs don’t do justice to how beautiful this property is! The breakfast far surpassed my expectations from such a small property. Dinners in the hotel restaurant too was excellent. The gardens were beautifully landscaped and swimming pool was extremely clean and well kept. We weren’t driving and therefore used the hotel shuttle bus to go to San Gimignano, and it was super convenient. The staff were extremely helpful at all times! The bathrooms seem to have been recently renovated, and therefore were completely modern and super clean. The rooms however are still quite dated. It didn’t bother us much as we spent very little time in the room. I would suggest paying a bit extra to get the first floor rooms for better view.

I loved everything about it! But the staff was the best ever! The front desk amazing! Found us the best driver to take us on a wine tour! Bravo Bruno! Front desk got us reservation at restaurant that we couldn't with an amazing view. The women at the bar/cafe was so good to my daughter. My daughter is autistic I could be a pain sometimes. But there were always happy to accommodate. The greatest place and people!!!!

We liked the location of the property, 10 mins from San Gimignano. Very quiet and peaceful. Rooms were clean and the property was well maintained. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. The pool area was lovely, although the pool temp was very cold.

The rooms were very basic and beds were small and not the most comfortable we had slept in. We only stayed one night so it wasn’t really too much of an issue.

Family of 5 traveling and having space was the best. It rained a bit while we were there so didn't get to fully test things out but the pool and outdoor areas were great. Nice to have ping pong and foosball. Also the outdoor patio made it easy to enjoy the afternoon. Dining room was easy to access and the food was very good. A short 5-10 minute drive to center of town and the hotel provided a shuttle service to and from.

Would defintately stay there again. Located just out of San Gimigano, it is the perfect place to stay for those with access to a car. The rooms were old school but cozy, overall very good. The hotel has a fantastic restaurant and had one of our best meals there during the whole 2 week trip (get the cheese cake desert). Staff was very helpfull and we did a fantastic wine tour with Bruno the wine guide in green Ferrari (Ask for him at the reception, best wine tour we had for a really really good price).

Really great location, just outside of San Gimignano. The staff were lovely, and very helpful. Great food options if relaxing at the hotel and not wanting to go out. This was a perfect stay to relax and enjoy the Tuscan sun!

beautiful location with great facilities - unfortunately we didn’t get to use the pool due to rain & cooler weather but the restaurant was great. asked for a suggestion for a winery lunch on the way to Siena and staff provided an excellent recommendation.

the room was very sparse and it’s furnishing was quite outdated and old fashioned - however the bathroom was recently renovated and stylish

Comfortable hotel in the neighbourhood of San Gimignano (5' by car) with a very nice pool (but too cold to enjoy it due to weather). Very nice staff. Very enjoyable dinner.

Beds were a bit narrow (80 cms) but it seems to be the norm in Italy and the room was a bit small but that was fine considering we only spent one night there and spent time essentially outside the hotel.

Staff was very hospitable and welcoming, always smiling. The property is well located near San Gimignano however you must take transportation to move around the area. It is a nice place.

The restaurant for dinner is okay but it needs more choices and finishes touches (side dishes). The staff was wonderful. Given the size of the hotel, it would be nice to have a bigger lounge area with more chairs by the pool.

Beautiful setting and amazing location for San Gimignano, the hotel offers a great shuttle service during peak times. Big car park for those travelling via car. Location is great for anyone flying from Pisa Staff were very helpful and polite

Room was a little noisy till 10:30pm ish due to the room facing dining court yard.
