Hotel Canne al Vento

we arrived by bus and the property was very close to the bus stop. It is also close to the city center. the check in was fast. All the staff were very friendly. the breakfast was fabulous with fresh baked goods, quality meats and cheeses, juice, eggs cereals and coffee. The room was cute and the bed was comfortable. we would definitely stay here again.

Santa Teresa Gallura was the final stop of a one day road trip in April from Alghero via Stintino and Castelsardo. We only spent one night at Canne al Vento and it was just the right choice we made for our accommodation. The hotel is conveniently located on the main road, across the street from a Spar Supermarket and around 10 min away from centro storico. Unless you're looking for luxury, this hotel is very fine for what you're charged. Rooms are basic but clean and with comfortable beds, no fancy interiors or travertine bathroom, just a decent option to sleep overnight while touring the upper half of Sardinia. The breakfast deserves a special mention as - given the traditional frugality of the first meal of the day in Italy - it is outstandingly diverse. I stayed in 4* hotels in large cities like Florence and the breakfast there were less impressive than the open buffet at Canne al Vento.

Our stay was so nice, staff were very hepful, polite and friendly. The breakfast was just perfect! The location of the hotel was so practical, there were many nice restaurants in walking distance, a very big market accross the street, parking was never an issue. We could walk to Rena Bianca beach.

We stayed in this hotel 4 nights and 4 other nights in Olbia, it would be much better to stay here longer. We liked everything.

The owners and the staff are so kind and they did all their best to make myself confortable and to make easier my stay in Santa Teresa. Special mention to the father his daughter and the lady who’s at the reception who all advised and helped me a lot on the transport and for booking an excursion to see the the Maddalena island and other small islands around Sardinia. They lent me a beach towel and an umbrella to go to the beach ! The breakfast was great with several choices and the location is fantastic, close to Rena Bianca beach, several nice restaurants and pharmacies. One of the best thing that I also enjoyed is a supermarket in front of the hotel ! I cannot forget the nice and kind present received from the lady at the end of my stay ! Thank you so much for the unforgettable stay that I had in Santa Teresa at your hotel Canne al Vento !

We loved our stay there. The ambience is great as well as the staff. Cleanliness on point and we could find parking nearby easily (end of May). The location is very convenient to visit capo testa or the town and there is a supermarket right across. But the best part was the breakfast!!! Everything we could wish for, different kinds of pastries (pancakes, cakes, waffles, croissants,..) as well as salami, cheese and the best homemade pistachio spread! Really great value for money.

The location is excellent and the staff was superb— friendly and extremely helpful. I was on the third floor (with the ground floor being 1) and a young lady grabbed my bag right away to take it up the stairs for me, without me even having to ask. They helped me with the bus schedule to the highly recommended Valley of the Moon. Though the ferry to Corsica is only a 10-15 minute walk away, they gave me a lift since managing one of my bags would have been a little challenging. A/C and wi-fi both very good. It’s a short walk to a beautiful beach and to the main town plaza.

A huge thank you to the staff that helped us when our car wouldn't start after check out. They spoke to the assistance service for us and kept us informed at all times. The rooms were nice and clean, and the choice at breakfast was great.

We liked absolutely everything about this property, it is just perfect. Location, design of the rooms, hosts, breakfast, restaurants around, the town itself, the beach…it is close to everything amd we really enjoyed our stay there.

Not the case

The location is great, very close to the beach, City center, supermarket, restaurants. Everything you need is very close by and easy to get there. There are parking spots nearby. The breakfast is very divers and rich, although some fresh vegetables would be needed. The staff is very polite and helpful. We had a perfect stay at this hotel and I sincerely recommend it.

The bathroom would need some modernization. There were no fresh vegetables at the breakfast ( tomatoes, cucumbers, Peppers)

Incredible hosts, Tomasso and Susana, hotel owners, make you feel like home. The small hotel is boutique style, very pretty, super clean, Incredible breakfast buffet and walking distance to everything, including a market across the street, multiple restaurants, the cute town square with stores and beautiful Rena Bianca beach. Santa Teresa Gallura is a very pretty seaside town, ideal location to stay and explore the beautiful coastline of the island :). Truly loved our stay, thank you!!
